QuoteSpud QuoteStoneage Most people tend to hang on to the music that was modern or trendy when they were in their most formative years, say between 10-20. Of course you move on from that, more or less, but it's still the base for your popular music taste. In a way it's the same with fashion or technology - it's constantly on the move. Young people today aren't formed by rock

QuoteBig Al Quotebabyblue Hyde park sounds tempting. What is sound like there. The sound is excellent, I'd say. My brother and I had GA tickets, and stood midway between the 'Gold Circle' and the back. Also, it was quite easy to get our spot; we'd literally just left the beer queue, when the 'Charlie drumming' intro started-up. Sound is always good in a field

Quotesteffiestones In the past, everyone tuned in to the same radio stations, watched MTV, or read popular magazines. Now, with streaming platforms, social media, and niche communities, the audience is highly fragmented. People follow their specific interests instead of the mainstream, making it harder for any one artist to become a global superstar. Whats your greatest Rockstar ? I honestly

Quoteironbelly Quote24FPS I read where someone referred to this as part of the Babylon tour. It's part of No Security, a much better tour. I'd already seen them on the NS tour months earlier in the states. Or did they call it Babylon in Europe in '99? It was Bridges to Babylon Europe 1999. They played postponed dates from the previous year. It was named Bridges to Babylon Tour

Quotefrankotero Definitely excited for this too, but I hope the split screen is an option and not through the whole concert. Although I care more about the audio. We now got video from Respectable, Saint of Me and Brand new car and you can see Splitscreen in all of them. I fear it's an artistic decision and it'll be though the whole movie.

QuoteDGA35 QuoteMadMax Alright fellow IORRians! I've said it before but... Just My Imagination at Hampton Roads december 18th 1981 is THE ESSENTIAL Godlike nirvanic Stones. Charlie's double wack at the end on the bass drum and Keith and Ron just laughing how good it is. (Or Jagger just cracked a string hehe) These are the double tunes I show while introducing a lady to our lad

QuoteGJB BST hydepark have announced 4 gigs so far (including ELO). There are still two very nice gaps on Saturday 5th July and.... Saturday July 12th - bit of history there! No inside info, but I think it's not an outrageous guess... I really hope they don't play Hyde Park. I don't like the venue and the sound volume was very low the last time. I really enjoyed London Sta

Quotebabyblue QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotebabyblue Thanks guys think I will get it on Amazon. Since it’s remastered. It's not remixed, so it probably isn't any better than the show you can get here in the vault. On Amazon it says remastered. Hmmm… I will have to check my big collection I could have Rocks Off. But what does remastered mean in this context? Probably a Bit of equali

At least the artwork is from the same era (although not always the same Tour) as the recording. My Atlantic City DVD I bought from a local store years ago had a photo from Bigger Bang Tour in the front. I don't care for such stuff anymore. Although you can buy it at official stores it's still a bootleg. To the Rocks Off live discussion I agree that they did the best versions on the

Quoteclapton71 Sorry, Didn't read all the threads but is it Soundboard. I have the boot from Sister Morphine. Thanks. It's an official release so I would bet it's not a soundboard but newly mixed from a multi track recording. Every single release from 1969 onwards was like that.

It was a an awesome concert yesterday in Stuttgart. I saw him right at the beginning of the tour in Charleston, West Virginia between the Atlanta and the Detroit gigs of our boys. He played the same 9 songs from the "new" album but they were played quite different than in 2021. Most of the other songs were new in the set and it was very surprising that he played Watchtower, It ain'

Quotepowerage78 There are tons of overdubs on Havana Moon (Out of control and Keith's disastrous original solo...). I'm talking about Vault releases. Havanna was a current major live release. But even there I don't think they did overdubs but they edited/pitch corrected that part. But there are not completely new tracks played in the studio like they did for many live albums and

Quotefrankotero Personally I don't think we should fear a lot of mistakes. Certainly they did some over dubbing. I'm more concerned about the dynamics, hoping it's listenable. If so, I'm going to be a very happy guy. I don't think they did new overdubs to any of the Vault releases. On some they used overdubs already available from the vault (Hampton and El Mocambo come
