Quotewhitem8 I think it is mostly a Keith song, and good evidence for this is that originally he sang vocals on it, and it was pretty much fully developed at that point (unlike Soul Survivor)... that's the story i always heard plus their's an outtake with keith doing vocals as well

in the late 80's while searching through used lp's at the local music shop i seen love it to death and killer simply because i liked the cover art . i don't have great memory skills but when you can remember buying something nearly 25 yrs ago i think it shows that the music is timeless

Quote24FPS A minor figure in rock. Definitely not a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. A perpetual opening act. No offense but i chuckle every time i read this.

Quotefolke That's nice! But we also need remastered deluxe cd's of Love it to death, Killer and School's out. i have the steve hoffman remastered gold discs of these two and they sound great but extra songs would be even better

if a 50 licks collection were to be released it would be a perfect excuse for abkco to release the stereo mixes we know exist in the vaults

QuoteSleepy City Quoteghostryder13 QuoteSleepy City Please keep me informed, I may be interested in these. I have a few "outfakes" of some of the BTB tracks where the backing track outtakes have been (expertly) overdubbed with the vocals from the released versions. those sound interesting I've just emailed you. i replied , many thanks

i think in the stones case it was more of a case of unintentional. in the early 80's i had hot rocks on cassette and the tape played at a slower speed than the lp and modern remasters. i thought i might of had a bad copy but i had bought other copies as well and had the same issue. took me a long time to get used to the songs at their normal speed.

QuoteHillside Blues Tumbling Dice on the original US single is DEFINITELY not a fold down. i agree, over the yrs i've done foldown mixes of the exile version, adjusted the balance, and i've eq'd it, and no matter what it pales to the 45 mono mix

personally i feel that the mono version of the album is alot better. there far too much separation of instruments in the stereo mix plus i never cared much for mixes that had vocals only in one stereo channel
