I don’t know about the rest of you married dudes, but I wear the pants in my house…that is when my wife’s not around.

Quoteliddas Quoteshadooby My tracks are organized by year in my itunes. It flows better for me that way. Absolutely concur! I find it also very interesting to put finished outtakes in the context of the album they were recorded for. In particular the ones done in the 80s and 90s, because they show how different the albums of that era could have been. And I am not saying better or worse, only

This is news to me as some of us are not regulars here due to whatever else is going on in our lives with family, careers, health issues, other interests, etc. So I am in particular grateful to see it mentioned again since I missed it before. Thank you to the original poster.

I used to make mix tapes back in the day from cd to vhs at ep six hour mode with my JVC 4-head vcr. Sounded excellent and was perfect for extended listening pleasure before the days of ipods and digital streaming. I also used to dub my favorite concert videos like my original LSTNT vhs to chrome cassette and played it all the time. Sounded most excellent. I actually preferred that film soundt

Brand New Car is a sloppy mess but somehow it still sounds great. Only the Stones could pull off a stunt like that.

Just watched it last night. Amazing release for sure. Great DTS audio mix and the split screens don’t bother me a bit. Keith is on fire snd it’s great seeing Charlie in top form. They all seemed to be having a blast which came out in the performance. Thanks boys and more archive sets like this please!

Best box set purchase in a long time. Just finished disc five. I’m in no hurry so I’m making it last and savoring the “newness”. Even though many tracks are repeated several times, they all sound soooo good! Much better than Coast to Coast which didn’t include Lane anyhow.

I was not a Reds fan but I loved watching him play. The intensity was unmatched. Got to see him play as an Expo and Philly but never as a Red, which I regret. Also have an autographed ball packed away someplace. Like Santo, a travesty he never got in the hall in his lifetime. Pete, you were a hall of famer in my book! RIP Charlie Hustle.

Chilling... Alan Jackson: Midnight In Montgomery Midnight in Montgomery, Silver Eagle, Lonely Road, I was on my way to Mobile, For a big new year's eve show, Stopped for just a minute, To see a friend outside of town, With my collar up, I found his name, And felt the wind die down, And a drunk man in a cowboy hat, Took me by surprise, Wearin' shiny boots, a nudie suit, a

I got a replacement disc from Universal with a fixed version. Just had to send them a scan of my receipt if I remember correctly.

I’m done wasting my money on these. Last one I bought ended up being a crappy audience recording from 1973. Seriously Neil? The store wouldn’t give me a refund for an open cd so now it’s wasting space on my shelf. GRRRRR!!!

Quotefrankotero Hmm, personally I think the official Blu-Ray is better. To each is own. Yeah, coincidentally I just pulled the blu ray out a few weeks ago. I concur with your assessment.

QuoteLoveInVain69 QuoteJumpinJimF As with B2B the thread has inspired a re-listen. Moon Is Up. Again, attempting something different so no complaints. End result is only OK Out of Tears. From anyone else it would have been a classic rock ballad. But we . I heard Out of Tears on the radio the other day and I was struck by how good it was. For me, an overlooked gem. Moon is Up, likewise I t

QuoteRockman Got hold of IORR 7" upon release ...... Spent days in a room with the curtains closed just listening to it over and over at full volume....that thick murky guitar driven noise... almost wore that A-side right out ..... still lurv it .... Plus the b-sides were always great when they weren’t included on the album. I still got mine and I think Through the Lonely Nights st

I thought the first half sounded pretty good in 5.1. I’ll have to try the second in 2.0 when I get an hour to sit down with no interruptions.

After comparing to the same tracks from Live Licks, it’s mind blowing how they can take a very good mastering and make it sound as if it was pulled from a puddle of mud. Yet another disappointment sound wise. But hey, I’ll gladly take any new archive releases.

The Marc Ford era was the best. Much like the Taylor era for the Stones. Glad I got to see them in 90 and 96. Most excellent shows.

I copied this along with all my other vhs to dvd about 20 years ago using a JVC 4-head vcr and dvd recorder. Couldn’t even tell you where they’re at in my pile of stuff now but they turned out great on the highest grade recording settings. I even made 2 copies each just in case one got messed up.
