It reminds me of the machine that takes over in The Incredibles.

Maybe the sun is setting on the guys but you have to give them credit for getting out on the road and putting on the shows. Right after BTB did everyone know about the set list before the show was even over. I for one looked and it did kill the surprise of what they might play. If Mick said lets pull out the gems and stuck to his guns then the rest of the crew would follow. I wish they would play

Just like anything else we all have choices when it comes to boots. I like SM and the quality of the music they bring to me. You don't have to bash the individual for attempting to improve the quality of the music. Buy it somewhere else. Then, and only then, if you don't like the boots that are available then do it yourself. Stop your bitching which a lot of individuals so well on this

I know he is getting old but he looks really old. Are we sure he can handle another tour???

Let me think about it..............................NO. I have paid $300 but that was when life was good and I only had one kid. If they play the same set list night after night then why go? Club? Maybe. Times are not good and it would be hard to justify anything over $200. Especially to the old lady and now two kids.

I thought he was a poser and loser. His old lady brought him down. He was a replacement player. Sad way to go out. Does anybody miss him??

I can remember some shows where he played Slipping Away and TITN. I understand Mick works the crowd but he can pull on the reins when he wants to. One song and the group is back in it. I think someone made a comment that Mick focuses on showmanship and not on the singing. There can be a happy median. I don't need to see his dance moves on every song. What energy they will have at their age i

Maybe he can do just one song. Even a Chuck Berry or a rocker of his choice( cover song). I don't think he would do a solo song. It would seem weird. I think they lose their momentum when he plays. Especially two slow songs. I never left when he sings but you see alot of movement from the crowd.

What I would give for just the boys on stage. I would rather see a fly by show than one that is on cruise control. With the back up band this is what has happened to them. Lose the luggage and play naked. Not literally of course. I think alot of people on this board are tired of seeing the same ole show(s) from a bunch of guys who can play and perform like musicians.

Smashing Pumpkins from their last tour. What a drag. Too loud and way too many jams. My wife and I wanted to leave half way through.

Great point Georgelicks. I think Live Licks was great. What is the difference from then to now? If you have seem them alot, me=25, and you have every possible bootleg why buy it? They cater to the common fan who attend the stadium shows, which is why we still get all those warhorses since '81. This DVD is for them.

I was bored with it, to be honest. I thought it was great for No Security, but I just didn't feel it from the video. I know it would be different if I was at the gig. Sorry.

I think GHS is good for mood music. SG is ready for anytime of the day. I wouldn't say I got bored listening to GHS but it's just one of those cd's for a cold day or snowing or raining. SG is in your face from the word go. My two cents.

I've got a cd from thatshow. What a live performance of the original gang. How come MTV does not air that thing? What I would give to go back in '88. I saw them in '89 w/Stones in LA and that was quite a double bill. The energy of that show was amazing. Where are those days?

Crazy Mama was done in Albuquerque( '97). LQ in San Diego was fantastic. I think for song selection that the No Security tour had the best choices( IMOO). I think the b-stage has worn out its novelty.

You are right on the additional musicians, but they don't overshadow the band. Lisa and Bernard and Blondie seem to be helping out on vocals on every song. Lisa even sings with MJ on a few songs. I like the fact that the BC don't use their backups as much as the RS. The jams may seem to be the same as other years, but the fact that they are mixing it up everynight is the fact that needs

The Crowes shows are an experience. What I like about them is they are a rock n roll band and know how to play. The band itself is awesome. I wish I could see them more. But, here is the difference between BC and RS. You don't know what you might hear from the BC. You can go on their website and see the setlists, but night in and night out it is unpredictable. Yes, they are into jams but so

Mine was Some Girls. I can remember my father playing it when I was 7/8. Shattered is the song that sticks with me the most. Maybe that's why it is my favorite album/song. It's in my car as I write this.

I agree. Saw them in Phx.. The energy was great and no theatrics. The band and some screens. The band was awesome. I could not take my eyes off Starkey. Pete was great and his energy was noticeable. After seeing many Stones shows it was nice to see something new and different. 25-27 songs was nice too.The encore was blistering. I am glad I got to see them.
