QuoteTurningToGold2 Did the Stones ever play Jacksonville before 1975? I'm wondering if they ever made it there during the early years or something. Really kinda curious to hear what Mick has to say about the town tonight. He's been doing that every show now, running down the memories of earlier shows in the particular city or venue they are in, it's really been great to hear him s

Quotevertigojoe Keith’s guitar would usually be capo’d at the seventh fret for MR. No capo for PIB. So was he given the wrong guitar? Surely he wouldn’t start MR on an uncapo’d guitar?? PIB. these days, is played with a Capo on the second fret.

Darryl and Chuck were still playing: I looked back towards the stage and you could also hear them. the first boot from the show confirms this. I think Bernard may have done backing vocals as well.

It would be illegal in most countries for promotors to block the signal. They can block their wifi, if they provide it and thats how you connect. What happens is that the cell (or cells) overload with 50,000 people trying to use them. Just calls and texts add to the load; Apps more, streaming down bad, streaming-up even worse. So the cell capacity fills so much it just get well over full. Then

This is not the B Stage - its the stage extension as we had in the last 2 years. Mick, Keith, Ronnie and Sasha go down there to sing/play.

I think its worth us all remembering that there is probably nobody on the Board aged over 30 years who could perform (sing, dance, run, entertain) like Mick for over 2 hours. Just not physically there combined with the voice and style. period. Yes he may do less than 20 years ago; yes his voice may need more protecting; yes he can't do it every night or even every other night. Hands-up an

Several points come to mind with this news: - Mick is well enough recovered to leave his doctors in NYC and travel to France - He is also arriving with his Norwegian physio/trainer, so presumably that "getting fit again" work has started already - He looks a bit frazzled but not as much as his PA, who is opening the car door - thats the benefit of a 6 hour overnight flight I

Photos of Mick & Family, Ronnie & family, Keith & Patti all in Miami on Sunday in the Daily Mail website today. Nothing of Charlie, no surprise. Odd, as usually they immediately head off in different directions when something happens like this postponement. And they had a band dinner on Friday, if you believe the press. Maybe they decided to stay in town to work on the new album

I'm hoping also for only the "first X" shows postponed due to travel costs etc. NOLA definitely cancelled I see. I guess it depends on the issue for Mick - hoping he makes a full recovery is clearly the most important thing. The US Football season starts on 5th September - so anything after that date gets more tricky for stadium access.

Quotebv The rehearsals are usually starting with the core band i.e. Mick Keith Charlie Ronnie + Chuck and Matt only. Then the rest of the supporting musicians join in for the production rehearsals, 1-2 weeks later. Also Darryl for the "core" band

Rehearsals starting in March for Chuck makes sense. working back from the start of the Tour and assuming they don't plan to rehearse on weekends 20th April - first gig 18th April - stage rehearsal 8-16th April (7 days) - full band rehearsals, incl possibly one Club gig 25th March - 5th April (10 days) - core band rehearsal (incl Darryl, Chuck and Matt) I read somewhere Keith

QuotePalaisRoyale The Mini tours have been 14 shows for some time. If they feel confident about the new album would cracking the 20 show barrier be out of reach? The large cities such as NY, Chicago, Boston could get two shows. Given the circumstances, when will the Stones have this opportunity again to showcase a new album and tour in North America? I think the 14 show tours have been more to
