Saw James Brown at the Beale Street Music festival last May - I was up against the front rail - I think he was 5'6" at the most......a very tiny man in physical stature.....

I'm wanting to compile my own Big Lebowski soundtrack and am having the devil of a time finding Shawn Colvin's "Viva Las Vegas" from "Til the Night is Gone: A Tribute to Doc Pomus." I think the album itself is out of print. Does anyone have this song and if so, can it be posted?? I certainly apologize in advance for being so greedy.

I remember when this song first came out and I always thought it was very tongue-in-cheek.......

Alex played for a while in the early 80's in Memphis with Tav Falco's Panther Burns, a local "punkabilly" band - I am ashamed to say I did not know who he was until then! He did like a friend of mine at the time and as a result, I got to hang with him for a bit. Very nice guy. I was worried about him after Katrina.

That's the one I'm having trouble with, too......Movie_03. This was such a good show - my #1 favorite. #2 must be the Simpsons's trip to Britain ("and our Beatles are better than your Rolling Stones!" screams Homer), and that's pretty classic in itself! Thanks for posting this....gonna put it on my iPod and carry it around with me everywhere!

I remember either Gilda or Laraine in a preview commercial saying "and Mick, we're just DYIN' to meet you!" or something like that. I think Ronnie was at the counter, too.

Interested in reading your reasons, CindyC.....never thought of that, but....hmmm......can see it! As for Leo - yes, he is losing that babyface and looking quite attractive to me these days. I think he's great - never went thru the putting-down-Leo phase as the 1st thing I ever saw him in was Gilbert Grape, and he was just so spectacular in that I've never held anything else against

I can believe Paul is a control freak, but some of these allegations seem a little extreme....how do people with one leg who DON'T live in multi-billion dollar households get to the bathroom at night? How do THEY care for their children?
