it's been on a tv commercial recently here in the States... I'd imagine a lot of people would recognize it, even if they don't realize it is a Stones song. I really enjoy a lot of the Between the Buttons material, including this classic!

Yes, Robert and Honeyboy were playing together in Greenwood around the time that Johnson was poisoned. I believe Honeyboy was there that very night, along with Sonny Boy Williamson.

But still, as monkey_man mentioned, it would be nice to hear some of the early demos of these 18 songs. Rough sketches of the songs were sent to Charlie early on so that he could start to learn the songs. Maybe one day we'll hear Mick's original drum tracks!!

Yeah... this is from the Lonnie Mack album "Strike Like Lightning" which was co-produced by Stevie Ray Vaughan. In fact, SRV plays on a bunch of the tracks. I've heard that he plays on this one.

Does anyone have any full length mp3s of the songs from the "surprise" warmup show at the Phoenix before this tour started? I remember a few short clips were shared on rocksoff right after the show, but they were weird about sharing full songs (understandable, since ABB wasn't released yet at that point). Now that the album has been out for quite a while, though, does anyone want

What about Cleveland, OH? The home of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.... Alan Freed's Moondog Coronation Ball.... Why would they play Columbus and skip over Cleveland? Didn't Keith even make a comment before the tour ended up in Columbus that they would be "heading to the sticks for a while" or something to that effect?
