If they tried Moonlight Mile in the 80's it probably sucked cause of Ron wood.

Wow do tyou think Mick or Keith will make a apperance ? Do you think Mick Taylor will or maybe Bill Wyman ? As absued as that may sound is about how much I care wheter these guys are playing anywhere . I wouldn't waste a nickel on them

OK you guys who said you doubt is was the final thought. I should rephrase that and say that is MY last thought on the topic. While I accept others peoples opinions about what they like I just prefer Taylor's. And to others who commented anout listening to boots I don't have have so I can't say if he played better then what I have heard already. Myabe my opinion is a bit jaded

Ok so here is my two cents on this matter. I was just watching Ladies and Gentlemen last night and started thinking about the people on here who swear Ron Wood is the best and great and all of that. And what I was thinking was ARE YOU FRIGGEN NUTS ? The way Taylor played was a thing of beauty . I was also thinking listening to Love In Vain was whether they even tried to play it with Woodie . I d

I don't think Mick is the problem with the Stones. It is the people who play instraments . Mick on his own could do a tour. But to have to endure Keith and Ron Roon up there mugging for two hours would be unbearable. Charlie hangs in there and don't even get me started on Daryl Jones. While he seems like a very nice person and plays a decent bass he can't hold a candle to Wyman .

Everyone seems to be making a valid point. But I wish that had put them on. I happen to like the verions of UMT and Satisfaction very much from what I saw and heard on Gimme Shelter . Under my Thumb was just a haunting version from ther movie but I love the grove they did on it.

Posted by: Sipuncula () Date: December 31, 2010 06:56 Quote headly123 What makes you think he can play ? Evidence provided by members of this board this year proves he can play. I can't say I've seen the same for any of the other members of the "band". Actually you are kind of making my point . I don't think any of them can really play anymore. So if what char

I think Doxa has a very valid point. I dont think he was ever all that wrapped up into the Stones thing. After watching L & G a few times lately I can't understand why anyone would like Ron Wood. He lucked out getting into that band and just appears to be a clown. When watching the film Taylor was not only a great solo player but very possibly an equal or better rhytem giutar player. I

To be honest I am little suprised at the howling about this album. I mean Ya Ya's sounds like big overdub and is considered one of the best 'Live' albums ever and you are ripping these guys. Lets be fair now. Or are we just rippping everyone these days ? If you ask me if it sounds good to you listen. If it doesn't put something else on. Live at Leeds sounded pretty good to me

I found it to be 100 % pure and total bullshit . Jagger doesn't talk like that and I am sure his response would be his usual shrug of the shoulders. Do you reallyt hink he gives a hit what Keith Richards says about him NOW ? I doubt it

i think the bottom line is that they just can't do it anymore. It isn't a knock but Keith even said on Jimmy Fallon pushing the exile release 'Don't even ask me to play because you are looking at a very rusty Keith Richards' I for one won't pay to see a band that can't play and I sure as hell don't want to see a lot of people on stage trying to do fillers

I happened to catch the last part of it. i have a bose surrond sound system and to be honest with you it sounded like shit. guitars were very uneven . The sound just didn't seem to have any balls to it. It loks like that is when Ron and Keith really started the posing and not playing routine. Which may explain the overdubs and some of the uneven sound

Nothing. Don't want to see them anymore. While Mick could probably put on a decent show and charlie can still play I don't think the rest of the band can . I am not interested in seeing a shell of a great band. They should just give it a rest . I mean I really don't want to hear Keith play really bad solo's or watch Ron(Just go away) Wood act like an @#$%& and play like crap

I think they would start a tour like that sying they wold only play the new material and then abandon hte ides like they did with Bigger Bang. After a while they trashed most of those songs and just went back to the Warhorses

I don't know about BA but one airline I can tell you is the absolute worst is DELTA . The don't give a Sh*t about ANYONE. You can stand in line waiting to check in for over and hour and they could care less. If you dare complain or say something they get even worse. I refuse to fly with them anymore. Hands down the worst ariline flying. So anyone who thinks BA is bad try these idiots. O

I was lucky enough to see him last year . It was an excellent show and as somwone said earlier worth the price of admission. Although I will say I am a littel jealous of the setlist he play for you. While I loved the show I went to it seemed like he played more of my favorites at the show you saw. Either way anyone who gets a chnce to see him you will enjoy the show for sure.

i would agree with that. I think Mick is the driving force but I also think he relies on Charlie a lot. He seems to be a very level headed person and maybe that is what Mick looks for in a person he knows he can trust andmake a sound descion. Just a wild guess

Since I feel a little responsible for setting off this chain reaction let me say something about some of the recent post on this subject . Whoever started this thread is a little naive I think. Nothing personal dude but really ? The Stones really aren't a band anymore. I love these guys but they just can't play anymore. The days are long gone when JUST the rolling Stones were on stage a

"#3. US: They love their fans! No way they are going to let us down!" You are joking right ? One thing I have learned is that most Celebrities could care less about you or anyone else. They do things for themselves not you . If you didn't have money the Stones or no one else would step foot on a stage. Look at the acts that have cancelled this summer already. Why ? No one is

1972 RFK in Washington D.C There have been many stories about that show. Most of them true. I wish I could tell you how good it was but I have to admit I was pretty hot, Tired and loaded by the time they came on. You had to get here very early because it was festival seating which was kind of new back then . There was no way I was going onto the field with those maniacs. So while I remember some

No disrespect to C Watts but in my humble opinion he is NOT one Rocks the greatest drummers. Very good but I think there are probably 10 others that I think are better. Don't get me wrong I love the guy. Just doesn't rank up there with some of the best
