No, I've never written a guide on how to improve sound. There are loads of guides already out there. The best piece of advice I could give is that everyone's ears are different. There's lots of programs that will convert files for personal Ipods etc. Someone on here recommended Xrecode and I have started to use that as it has been written by an individual rather than a large corporation. The support is excellent too.
