Dan Reed Network opened in Manchester. They were joined by The London Quireboys in Newcastle, I think to help sell tickets, the Quireboys were actually from Newcastle I believe.

My friends and I managed to get front row for both shows(between Keith & Bill). Actually had the same position in Newcastle, the show before Manchester. This leg of the tour is my favourite concert experience. My friends and I decided to go to England after college to see the Stones. I was able to get tickets for us to 2 Shows @ Wembley Stadium by phoning over to Ticketmaster in England. So

The remix on the samples sound great, better kick drum sound on some songs. It also sounds like different versions of some songs including a sb. Star Star. This is fantastic news! If they really opening up the vaults I can't wait to see what is next. I hope this opens up for North America.

I've gotta admit I've got a soft spot for the 81 tour. Its what I grew up with. Lets Spend The Night Together was all I had for a live visual experience of the Stones for years. My Hampton tape was the best video boot I had for years.The other boot vhs tapes I eventually aquired (Ladies & Gentlemen & Paris 76) were generations away from pristine, visually and soundwise. Hello all. I've been following this board for awhile. I finally got hooked up with hi-speed access and have decided to try and contribute here and there, where time, and my horrible hunt and peck typing skills, allow. I've learned a lot from the board and hope to give back. Been a fan since around 1982 and "grew up" with the Stones 81 Hampton vhs (got into boots very early on)

I think the Brown Sugar audio is the same version as on Love You Live, but with the unedited vocals. The video comes from the same 76 Paris performance as well as CS Blues and 81 tour footage.

Was it The Dan Reed Network? They opened in Newcastle[ with the London Quireboys] and Manchester. Living Colour opened only in North America. Mick says on the Montreal dvd that this is their last show together.

The sound and video are excellent! The audio might be slightly better than The Salut Montreal boot. Video is a 9/10 with time code in the bottom left, I don't find it too intrusive. I don't have trade or sale capability but have seen an original on Ebay still.
