Cut him some slack! I'm a singer in a classic rock band. Our guitar player is only 35, no arthritis, has been playing since he was 15, can play any thing from Yngwie Malmsteen to Jimmy Page & he also has trouble with this intro. We solved it by spliting it into 2 parts. I play the part at the 5th fret he plays at the 12 fret.
