I think Doom and Gloom is a great song and I am glad when it is performed live, even though for me the studio version is better than the live ones. Apart from this, I appreciate when the Stones add some newer songs to their setlist.

Love Respectable - a simple, straight forward Stones rocker with great lyrics. Lies, on the other hand, for me is by far the weakest song on SG, in fact the only song from this album which I love which I don´t like listen to.

She's So Cold was the song that made a Stones fan out of me at the age of 15...still love it a lot. like many already mentioned, for me it is a kind of archetypical Stones rocker. it is exactly this kind of song which makes me love the band and their music. P.S. The Hapmton version of She's So Cold is great too! At the moment i prefer it even to the studio one.

i liked the Some Girls outtakes disc from my first listening onwards a lot; overall for me it is even better than the Exile one. I always loved the album ER, and for me one of its highlights has always been SR. A straight forward rocker with loud guitars and a nasty, decadent attitude. It´s a bit out of topic, but the Hampton version of SSS really is great. I even prefer it to the studio version.

Because I was on holiday when the tickets were sold, I just managed to get a Lucky Dip ticket, which got me into the upper section, sector B, almost next to the stage. I had hoped for a place in the pit, because I feared .that the atmosphere up there would be lousy but luckily this wasn´t the case at all. When the stones started, almost everybody was up to his feet, shouted and started to dance.
