Gothenburg Saturday June 19th. 1982. Ticket price 100 Swedish kroner. 18 years old and travelled from Oslo on a bus with a lot of other Stones fans. The gates opened at 10am, show starting at 1pm, Stones went on around 7pm if I'm not remembering wrong.

There are no pictures of Keef on the cover nor in the booklet. Some copyright stuff? JJF is still the same recording, but I think it sounds slightly better.

Rain Dogs without a doubt and Alice but also Real Gone's good. Both Asylum Years and Beatiful Maladies (Island Years) are good collections as well.

Right now I'm ripping a Bigbang cd to my new 30GB Creative player called Frontside Rock'n'roll. Great Norwegian band playing good r'n'r. Are going to fall asleep listening to this.

This was my sixth show, the first being Gothenburg in 1982 and I have to say, I think Bergen was the best of the ones I've been to. I stood 4-5 metres to the right of the small stage and had a blast watching the boys out in the rain. Keef look as he did in the early seventies, at least in the dark. Went to see Chris J. afterwards but that was not very funny so I left.

A few weeks ago I bought a DVD with a CD of The Midnight Ramble Session vol 1. with Little Sammy Davis on vocals/harmonica. Great bluesy stuff. Well worth buying. Found it on Amazon. I'm thinking of buying volume 2 as well.

I saw him about two years ago in Oslo, and I think it was one of the funniest shows I've been to. It's all about beer and rock'n'roll. Great guy, hope he never changes.

I can understand this coke thing with whiskey. It just ruins it. But I might be strange. If you pour coke into your whiskey you could use just about the cheapest brand there is! It's like mixing cognac with Sprite/7UP, IMO..

First of all I believe whiskey should be blended with absolutely nothing, except a FEW rocks of ice. I have a bottle of Single Barrel JD with, I think, 50% alc. by vol. Rather heavy, but still smooth. In my opinion Gentleman Jack is too perfumed. I hought it was made to make it easier for the ladies to enjoy. I really, honestly, enjoy Rebel Yell the most whenever I can get my hands on it, wh

But on The Complete Work-pages (www.nzentgraf.de), RC is not listed as personell on the June 24 session, which was the version that ended up on the record. So I don't know. Maybe RC denies it

My Martin Elliot book is from 1990.Must be the first edition. On song number 221 Prodigal Song, Elliot lists "Rolling Stones with Ry Cooder" and I quote "Ry Cooder helped to create the blues flavour, as he plucked the strings with Keith Richards."

According to Martin Elliot's book, RC played on Prodigal Song, Love in Vain and Sister Morphine. Both Harvey Mandel and Wayne Perkins played on several tracks on Black & Blue.

Got 1234 on both LP and CD and I really love it. 1234, Outlaws, Priceless are great. Never seems to grasp Not for beginners. Slide on this and Slide on Live are also great. Favorite is NB's Buried Alive. Recorded Capitol Center Arena in Largo, Maryland, May 5, 1979! They're all drunk! "...and Ron Wood if i could!"

I saw The Last Waltz in the movies in 78, I think. Bought it recently on DVD and really dug it. Saw them live in Oslo on the tour after the Jericho album. Must have been in '93 or '94. Levon was so drunk he had to be helped to be seated. They also had an extra drummer playing with Levon. Later Danko said Levon had a bit of the "tour-flu" during the Oslo gig. It was fun though.
