I think they will do 3, maybe 4 songs. They will olny get 16 or 17 minutes so it will probably be something like

I have a boot called Kentucky Fried Rockers and the intro is "well hell why dont you give yourself a round of applause for the Rolling Stones" It sounds like mick as do the others to me. Forum: Tell Me
Its on the intro to the Chicago stadium show that circulates on videos. It only has Let it rock, Miss you, JJF, Satisfaction and I dont know what the intro music is but it sounds like some English royalty thing. Forum: Tell Me
I was the only person at the ticketmaster I went to at 10am on Saturday, and still had to settle for nose bleeds. There is no way that all those tix sold in the first 2-3 minutes. Forum: Tell Me
What was with the orange pants with the blue patches? a little to short or was that the idea. I saw them in Boulder in 81 and there was a guy walking around with orange parachute pants on looking like a dork. Forum: Tell Me
I met Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie in Palm Beach Florida during the BtB tour.
A good friend of mine owns a video production co. and got the call that they were announcing the S. American leg of the tour from their hotel. He knew I was a big fan and asked if I wanted to tag along and help out with the cameras, lights, cables ect. Of course I said YES!!
We set up at 8am and it was interesting Forum: Tell Me
What makes no sense is that there was more negotiations accomplished in the last 24 hours than the last 24 months. There are rumblings within the players union, they said they would never agree to a cap and then find out that a cap was OK at a certain number. It seems that the owners have the players by the balls at this point knowing they are willing to accept a cap. To go this far and then acce Forum: Tell Me
check out the just for the record DVD 80's decade. Ernie Watts talks about his time with the Stones and is interesting. Besides when The Stones ask you to play with them what are are going to say? No? Forum: Tell Me
1) I prefer Good boots over pathetic live releases any day.
2) MT yaers are some of my favorite and try to collect every show.
3) War horses are what they are, They play to 50,000 and have to include them
4) like talking about an old high school teamate.
5) Ive heard it sinse the 81 tour and it gets old.
6) Dont have one but there are some that are great.
7) 1st concert was 10-4-81 and didn Forum: Tell Me
Hanns, I totally agree, TIOMS from hampton is what it should be. But all Stones official live stuff is not as good as the boots. exception is ya-yas and some of LYL. Forum: Tell Me
My girlfriend owns a Frame shop and she has framed a bunch of posters and pictures for me. some of My favorites are the 1973 Australia tour poster and the Licks tour in Nashville with the Cowgirl with the lolipop. There all matted and sealed and should not lose any color for a hundred years. Forum: Tell Me
I lost my Job because of it. There is blame on both sides and I dont see NHL next year either. If that happens I see the owners winning in the end. The owners are the ones who paid these outragous saleries to certain players who were not worth it. Then Players on other teams say I want what he got and it snowballed from there. Its a broken system that has to be fixed but I dont have the answer. A Forum: Tell Me
I think Still Life is their worst live release ever, but I prefer soundboard boots of tours over official live releases anyway with the exception of Ya-Yas Forum: Tell Me
Get the Hampton 81 show on CD and DVD. I prefer the 78 soundboard stuff over the 81 stuff, but Hampton 81 does truely rock. I wish there was a pro shot DVD of the 78 tour to me it just seems that they rocked out more in 78 Forum: Tell Me
If I can find a decent boot, I will buy it just to have it but would rather burn a copy or trade. I saw a double CD of San Fransisco 1975 for $50 and didnt buy it. It was an audience recording and just wasnt worth it to me. I will spend $ on tickets for one show of a tour but not $350 for up front, no way. Forum: Tell Me
Up and Down with The Rolling Stones was the first one that I read. Liked it alot
Journey through America I like because it is about the daily happenings during the 1972 tour. Also The book By Chet Flippo on the El Mocambo gigs [77-78] and what was going on during that time i.e. Keiths bust, Margeret Trudeau, ect. Forum: Tell Me
Boulder Colorado Stadium 10-4-81 about 4th row in front packed in like sardines.
Sinse then, Alpine Valley Wisconsin 89, Minneapolis Metrodome 89, Ames, Iowa Stadium 89, Joe Robbie Stadium, Miami 94, Orange Bowl Miami 97. Forum: Tell Me
Charlie, He has that dry sense of humor and doesnt take himself seriously. I would like to know more about his other interests i.e. Jazz, Horses, ect. Forum: Tell Me
Would anyone be so kind as to let me send B&P for this show. Its one that I do not have and would appreciate it very much. Thanks! BBstones Forum: Tell Me
Did anyone catch Like a Rolling Stone from St. Louis pay per view BtB tour B-stage?
Mick has trouble with his battery pack and keeps pointing at it to one of the crew but keeps singing anyway. After the song when the band walks back to the main stage you can hear mick bitching out someone bigtime. Something like "never @#$%& again"!
I wonder if anyone got canned for that. Forum: Tell Me
