u know what I fear for the Exile re-issue? I could see those buggers just putting it out as 2 cds so it ran like the album with no extras. Disc 1- Rocks Off thru Loving Cup Disc 2 Happy thru Soul Survivor and then of course the price could go up to a double cd.

When the Voodoo Lounge tour hit Boston in 1994, the gossip columnists said Mick partied one night at a restaurant with Peter Wolfe in which Jagger smoked KOOL cigarettes. I seriously doubt if he smokes daily.

Japan 1988 was the last of the over the top antics started in 1975. Compare the Japan 88 shows to the Austrailia tour just 6 months later, and his moves are much less grandeoise. Since 88, I think Jagger personally put on the best shows during the Voodoo Lounge tour. He wasnt jumping around breathless like 1981 but it was significantly more in motion than Steel Wheels.

To me, indoor wise it was 1975 and then NO SECURITY. I thought the LICKS and ABB indoor stage was almost identical, and really not that impressive considering good tickets were $450.00 Although, I enjoy the arena shows more, the stones have always put much more into the stadium stages.

Mick was always pretty much a prick while being interviewed prior to 1981. 1981 he became a lot more respectable with the main stream press like Ronna Barrett, and not nearly as flippant with his answers. The only exception pre 1981 in which he comes off pretty civil is the Dick Cavett 1972 interview.

Saw the original Kirschner broadcast back in Sept 73 when I was a mere 11 years old. Show started with sit down version of Angie( the one off Video Rewind). Then we had to sit thru 45 minutes of other stuff, and then Silver Train, Dancing, and then Jagger standing doing Angie.
