I tried it and it didn't work, it doesn't seem to be the region that is not letting it play. My friend tried a few different things and nothing seems to work. I may just have to find another copy from someone.

Guys don't listen to any of the bashing from Mathijs. Sounds like you guys are having fun playing the music you love. And considering you are recording these songs using old computers and are in different countries I think it sounds pretty good. Of coarse there are going to be some rough edges but what does one expect. I myself used to sing in a band and love playing or singing the Stones, e

I got the Hyde Park Dvd from a fellow Stones fan and it won't play on any DVD players but a friend of mine got it to work on his computer. The DVD players all say something about not being able to read the format. So my friend tried to use his DVD burning software to burn it onto a blank DVD which seemed to work but again the DVD players can't read it. Does anyone know if there is a way

They use a mandolin in the studio version which is really crucial to have in the song if it is played live. I guess Sway is the only song left from Sticky Fingers that is yet to be played live. Maybe next tour we will see them perform a whole album start to finish. They mentioned doing that last tour. Would be interesting.

I can't stand Oasis, they were horrible when I saw them open for the Black Crows and were booed off the stage and people were throwing things. They flipped off the crowd and walked off.

hot stuff, would love to hear those songs you mentioned in the set for the next tour. Maybe with the exception of Anybody Seen My Baby, that didn't work too well live. You Got The Silver was played during the No Security tour but wouldn't mind if they played it again and gave Happy a rest. I Got The Blues was also played during the same tour as well as back in 1970.

Love this song and I think it would be great if the Stones did a blue set with their own blues songs like... Parachute Woman Down In a Hole Hide Your Love Black Limousine Who's Driving Your Plane The Storm

I wish they would play more songs from that time period as well. Mother's Little Helper, As Tears Go By, Heart of Stone, Play With Fire, Time Is on my side, Get Of my Cloud, Come On, Lady Jane, Have you seen.... The list goes on and on, these songs were all hits back in the day but are rarely or never played live. I know some of these have been included here and there over the years but they

SatanicFlowers, I felt the same way for a while, I never got into the Faces before because I don't like Rod Stewart. But I said screw it and got the box set and I am glad I did because its some great rock n' roll. Can't think of the name of the song of the top of my head but I love the second track on disc 4, Ronnie's slide is so good. Sounds like the White Stripes were very i

I have many friends who have done plenty of LSD and they are fine now. They hold jobs like accountants, lawyers and so on. However if you make this a drug you do everyday you will end up insane. Doesn't the line in Live with Me refer to LSD "I take tea at 3" I remember Mick or Keith saying that they would put a hit of acid in their tea in the late 60's.

Love them both, they both brought something to the Stones. Ronnie may have brought more to the actual group where as Taylor may have brought more to their sound. Both were needed to make the Stones what they are.

I feel like Ronnie could have been a bit depressed that the best songs he wrote Rod Stewart was going around playing as his own and since joining the Stones he did not have the chance to do different things since he was now a small part of the Jagger/Richards songwriting team. All of this could have led to him having more of a problem with drugs. I guess it also doesn't help hanging out with

I just picked up the new Faces box set, I have never really listened to them before and I must say that Ronnie's guitar playing is great, much better than the stuff he has done with the Stones. These seem to be his prime years as a guitarist and I think he probably gets knocked for his skills too much here. Perhaps if he were with the Stones during this time in his life people would have rea

I wanted to warn everyone about this Web site, I bought a Rolling Stones t-shirt for my girlfriend for Christmas, mind you I ordered it almost a month ago. A few days before Christmas I called and emailed them because my shirt had not arrived and talked to a lady there who assured me it was sent. Then I did some more research about this company and found they had ripped off many other people with

I just made a trade with someone and gave them a few studio cds. I was wondering if anyone new a site that had covers of offically released cds. I could use someone's scanner but thought I'd ask first to make it easier.

After the Gold Rush, Live Rust and Harvest are all great. I can list more but that is a good starting point. The song Powderfinger is one of my favorite Neil Young tunes. He is such a great musician.

Agreed. I think it is one of the best songs recorded by anyone in the Stones over the past 20 years. Could have worked well as a Stones song but it sounds just fine the way it is. Hope there are a few country songs on the new album.

Evening Gown is just a masterpiece. Also I would say Jagger's song Blue and Don't Tear Me Up. I also like Don't Call Me Up and Keith's Make No Mistake. For Keith, You Don't Move Me, Locked Away Ron: Breathe On Me

Was wondering if anyone else has checked out this DVD, I got it yesterday and its great. Some great performaces by the Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Flying Burito Bros, the Band, and Buddy Guy. In one scene it almost looked like one of the shows would turn into a scene from Altamont but its cops beating up fans and Jerry Garcia tries to calm everyone down. This is a great DVD if anyone is looking
