I have all the newer studio album on vinyl and I think the flow is so much better as a double record. Would love to see them reissue the live albums on vinyl especially Stripped.

People complained about the length of Exile as well. To me albums like Voodoo, Bridges are better on vinyl with 4 sides. I don't think there is anything wrong with newer Stones albums, its all personal preference but with the Stones as always the case people will always bitch when it comes to newer stuff.

I have not seen Dead & Company but several people that I know have posted reviews on Facebook saying that John Mayer has worked several of his songs into little tid bits of jams. Myself I don't know any of his music so I wouldn't recognize it. But yes how critical people could be about Trey playing with them, if he ever did this he would get bashed for it.
