I had tickets for Friday in Birmingham. Brother in law received an email to say it was cancelled, no explanation given. Was so looking forward to this and really disappointed. I have seen a lot of his shows over the years, even seen talking heads in the seventies.

One of the best summer's in the UK for a number of years, and absolutely loved it. Weather is good for this time of the year and had a pleasant 2 hour bike ride this afternoon. If things work out, when I retire in hopefully 18 months time, I will be spending most of my time in spain.

Went to see the toots last wednesday, in a venue ( Birmingham Digbeth institute ) which I would love to see the stones in. Anyway a great atmosphere and toots knows how to deliver, just wished it was either a Friday or Saturday evening. Got David Byrne to see, at the end of October, which is a Friday night.
