I stayed long enough just to see them come on stage. Then I had to run to catch the last bus.The place was absolutely packed out I remember. I shouldn't have been there atall because of my age & school had declared the club out of bounds. All these years later & the love affair continues!

We were lucky enough to win on-stage tickets for the last show at Cardiff. The really good bit about that was that I'd given up our b-stage seats to friends for their nosebleed ones as I wanted them to really enjoy the only Stones show they were going to. We'd seen all the other u.k. concerts so we wanted them to experience how great the shows were close up. You can imagine the shock &a

Thanks for that.Wonderful memory. I was lucky enough to see the Stones with Brian 3 times live , once at the cavern and twice in Chester. Mesmerising performances. Nobody else even came close, especially not the Beatles who I also saw at the cavern and the empire in liverpool. You're right, it does change your life. I've seen them many times since. They're still wonderful.

It's great to remember this show on a nasty winter's night. I'd never seen so many Stones' tattoos as people removed their shirts in the hot sun. When Joe Jackson was on I could see Mick leaning on a piano at the back of the stage watching. Also the Joe Jackson band got their cameras out and took photos of the crowd because they'd never played in front of so many people

I saw both Keith shows at the Town & Country club in 1992 & they were brilliant; small club, ecstatic, enthusiastic crowd. "Gimme Shelter" really stays in my memory from those concerts.

Thanks, Bjornulf, the shirts arrived safely yesterday & are great. I'm only down for Slane at the moment but I'll definitely wear it with pride!

Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was a little subdued until "Free Money" which was brilliant. What I really wanted to hear of course was "Gimme Shelter"A good version but didn't last long enough. But the whole place took off for "Because the Night" & "Gloria" It was a great gig & a great crowd. Unfortunately I had to leave during the 2nd son

I've never been before but I imagine it's all standing. I saw her at the Manchester Academy on the last tour & that was a great gig & all standing.
