It took me four of five takes to listen to this song to realize how great it is. First time, it did not move at all, I thought it was kinda boring. Probably I did not expect such kind of thing from the Stones I thought at that time I knew - so I just abandoned it. Second time I did not get it either but it was performed live at the Knebworth concert which I loved a lot so I gave it third try. I t

Quotesteffialicia When I saw the house, I did get concerned because of Dev and the pond so close by. Yes, gators are all over here. I'm sure they'll have each door childproofed, not to mention nannies around. Laugh if you will but I think Mick may finally settle down with Melanie. They seem to have a lot in common. Both athletes. Charlie Chaplin finally settled down in his 70s

I don't think he's gonna live there anyway. One of the articles say her parents live in that area. So that's a house for her, he might stay there for a while though but I don't see him living there.

They are eager to finish their No Filter Tour, that's at least. Sure they are going to do it next year. I bet they also have plans for their 60th Anniversary.

It's nice to see she really means something for him. It's good he found someone he is happy with. Not sure about wedding though - but raising his young son with Melanie must be inspiring for Mick, giving his age. Also his older children are close with her, from what I have heard.

I just hope it's not gonna be the same sensationalism most of viewers have already heard of from some writers and documentaries. Hope they're gonna focus on trying to be FAIR to all the members involved, especially portraying relationships between Mick and Keith and Brian. Hope they are going to do deep research. Hope no "Anita and Marianne made the Stones who they are" fantas

QuoteStoneage I'm sure Sir Michael, as a businessman, would disagree with you two, TT and D. The month of December is usually big business for the recording industry. In the old days - when they (RS) still made records - December was good for sales. And Christmas songs are usually very lucrative for artists who still want to stay in business and connect to their fans. Well I think if h

QuoteKeefy Lets start with this line: "Black rider, black rider, hold it right there The size of your cock will get you nowhere"...Not to mention the title..Just referencing what Marianne said in her book and what Keith said in his book..And I can throw a few other verses out.. Do you really think Bob would write a song about Keith' cock especially based on what was written on M

Wow that is really nice to know. I've only read mean things from John, some personal insults included. But I love that he gave some nice stuff, too.

I've heard Billy Idol and his song Rebel Yell was inspired by the Stones. Can not add the quote, as I don't remember where I read that.

QuoteRisingStone My only reservation is, however, the author picks The Doors as the greatest American rock band of all time albeit ad interim. How many song titles of them can a casual music listener or an average person of the general public name when they are asked? Probably only two — Light My Fire and The End. Maybe Hello, I Love You and Touch Me, but that’s it. Compare them with the case

I just love how people on here excuse Keith for pretty much the same they don't excuse Mick. Keith criticized Mick for doing the Stones stuff in his solo tour yet he did the same in his own solo tour. He probably still remembered the New Barbarians fiasco in late 70s when they said that Mick was going to join and sing some Stones stuff and the promise was never actual.

Quotewonderboy QuoteMariuana Did not Keith himself do some of the Stones bits while touring solo? I mean, Gimme Shelter, Happy, Before They Make Me Run and others. Or was it just his prerogative to do some of the Stones songs with the Winos? Well, two of those three were basically his songs and even Gimme Shelter was something he takes a lot of credit for. I read once he was especially upset t

QuoteBig Al QuoteMariuana That's definitely Mike Douglas show, rehearsals. What I find really weird about these old footages is the cameraman seemed more interested in filming the crowds and stage staff other than the Stones performing or getting ready. Well, there’s far too much crowd-footage now, too. What grates does me, regarding some of the early footage, is the absolute focus on Mic

I'm totally OK with this song. Probably not my most loved one but it has its charm, nice melody and great lyrics. It's definitely on my playlist and yes, I love the vocals. There's nothing embarrasing about this song. As Mick said in one of his old interviews about this song: 'What, you never expected me to write a song about my daughter?' So that's a nice on

I'm surprised by amount of promotional interviews he's given in the last few weeks . Not that I'm protesting, it's better than nothing but hey, same quesions, same answers. And there is no way he did not know what questions he was going to be asked so this stuff approved by his PR and agent is getting kinda boring.

I'm sure everything on the tour is pre planned, rehearsed and scheduled anyway, timing for extended Taylor solo included. They are no bunch of roockies. I don't know why should it be interpreted as something disrespectful and sinister towards Taylor.

QuoteHairball QuoteMariuana QuoteHairball For what it's worth, it was Keith who was hoping Taylor would join them for the following tour in 2015, but no doubt it was Mick who vetoed the idea unfortunately. A shame as they were on a roll during that tour with Taylor, but you can see in many videos Mick shutting him down in the midst of a solo for whatever reason (I don't think Mick l

It seems Keith was not willing to talk about him.> Taylor only played a minor part on Talk Is Cheap, and he is not on Live At The Hollywood Palladium. It would have been surprising if they talked about him in this interview, imo. Perhaps if the live version of I Could Have Stood You Up got a mention. How you conclude that Keith wasn

Quote24FPS QuoteDandelionPowderman Quote24FPS Wyman, for the chemistry alone. The real core of the Stones is Keith, Charlie and Bill. You remove one leg from that three legged stool and it's not the same. Bill could improve a song, envelop the sound and give it form. Darryl has nothing personal about his playing. You could hear humor in Bill's playing, like the rubbery notes on She'
