QuoteDandelionPowderman ! That's a bit up for debate here Supposedly, there is an acoustic guitar in there, but it's not very audible. ) Really? That’s interesting

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteTrulyMicks1 So many great tunes already listed. How about Waiting On A Friend Great intro, but it is played with an electric guitar. I guess I was thinking of Mick playing live. Is there no acoustic on the studio version? I can’t pick just three!

QuoteBlueTurns2Grey 3 masterpieces to spend 15 minutes in the Memory Motel: 'Black and Blue' version: 'Beyond the Groove' - movie version: Bremen 1998: Thanks, these are great. I never heard Mick solo on this.

Just listened to it a couple of times and was reminded just how great it is. Keith’s vocals are perfect on it too and the lyrics are quite a story

QuoteStonesfan2146 What makes this song so great to listen to?. I love this song. For me, it’s all about the vocals. The way Mick sings peachy and hazel is just sooooooo good.

Thanks for the song links, pictures and interview. Mick had such a vision and we got such a view of that period. There’s nothing else like this! The only improvement imo would’ve been Mick singing instead of Yoko

QuoteDoxa Quoterollmops Listening to "Winter" is a unique experience within the Rolling Stones song catalog. It takes me on a mental and very emotional trip. Exactly. - Doxa [/quotel Me too! I have been mesmerized by this song also. The lyrics, vocals and guitar create the exact feelings I had growing up in MA, taking care of my horse in a frigid barn and living for the spring

Quoteribbelchips I seem to recall that in a recent interview, Mick talked about the much beloved instagram photo's at local hotspots and places like the thirsty beaver, and he then indicated he did so because he expected it to be the last time he would visit those places. I quess that 'final usa tour' conclusion was based on that quote. I must’ve missed that interview. I haven’t

Quotecrawdaddy Happy Birthday Mick Taylor. Please have a break from retirement and do a few live gigs to give us a bit of happiness and pleasure in 2022. My fave is also Time Waits For No One, and the song and video that a fan had put together, was a very touching tribute to Charlie. Love this recording as well as this short write-up. I love this too thanks! Another favorite!

QuoteMariuana Happy Birthday to my favorite Stones guitarist ever. May he spend his day filled with love and light. Here are my two favorite moments of him - among many others of course - Marquee I've Got The Blues when he gently takes on the intro when Keith messed up and another one is him dancing to the Can't You Hear Me Knockin' in Glastonbury video: Wow I love those vid

Quotebradleycsocal QuoteGasLightStreet It seems rather realistic, given what Mick says these days, that the 2021 NO FILTER tour was the last US tour. Obviously their age is a bigger factor but COVID showed that even the Stones have to wait for things out of their control, yet alone Charlie dying. Obviously no one will know until after 2022. Where has Mick said that 2021 was the last US tour

Happy Birthday Mick T! Hope you are having a fantastic day! Your guitar playing is beautiful and you with the Stones will always be my favorite lineup. Love you on Plundered My Soul too, and hoping one day there will be more collaborations.

Mick looks fantastic and I love how he is dancing in sync to the lights. He is so funny! Mick wears clothes so well……and silver bling clothing is very big right now. I think he looks awesome.

QuoteHairball Yes always a bit disappointing they don't play much of anything from the last 40 years as there are a handful of pretty good tunes, and even stranger is that most of the oldies they play are from before Ronnie even joined the band. I agree, but more than a “handful” and better than “pretty good” ????

Some of their best songs are from the post 70’s and I think they could’ve done the last tour playing these songs only. Some of my friends I saw No Filter with were very disappointed because they played all old songs. They were hoping to hear some songs from Emotional Rescue, Voodoo, Undercover, Bridges, Bigger Bang, etc.

I was fortunate enough to attend and thought the night was absolutely magical! Them being announced and the curtains being drawn was such a moment and they were nonstop, especially Mick. He was incredible! I didn’t notice the shortened setlist, only that there was no song vote and thought maybe we would hear Let It Bleed when Mick got the acoustic guitar. He went right into YCAGWYW, which was g
