QuoteGangster-of-love Massimo, are they any news about the SCNF strike ? My TGV on June 28th back to Frankfurt is still sheduled, but it's an official strike day. Now I'm thinking about to fly in. Otherwise SCNF guartantees that 30% of the trains will be working as usual. So I'm really undecided what to do? I'm in the same boat, train back to Paris on the 27th (strik

If there's one book I would NOT recommend, it's "Rolling Stones une biographie" (by François Bon). Dunno if an English version exists or not, but stay away!!! While the facts are certainly interesting and abundant, the writing style is horrible, pompous/overbloated/trying to look all literary and turning the whole reading experience into an agonising and very painful ordea

Dunno. Here's a fun game: scroll down so that you only see the picture and try to guess which Stone's it is. It's hard, they don't look much like pops! Gabriel Jagger looks more like Ron Wood's son. Funny how so many of them model for Tommy Hillfiger...

Guess I'm going to get this as well as No Security, which I've listened to many a time but still don't have on CD (as the latter has: Memory Motel/Live with Me/The Last Time/Waiting on a Friend/Sister Morphine/Thief in the Night and doesn't have all of those "warhorses" we've heard a billion times)

QuoteMonsoon Ragoon (A 82 year old man singing about cocks and bitches is a bit far-fetched.) I dunno, Chuck Berry sang about his Ding-a-ling through his late 80s, so singing about weanies, bitches and hos is entirely possible!

QuoteBig Al The Cabbage Patch is now a Fullers pub and has seemingly had a refurbished since 2006. Looking forward to being there pre-show. It was great in '03 and '06 Will it be a good hangout on the day of the 22nd May show? Before only or after as well if yes? What's the address?

RE Strikes: The 26th is not a train strike day, the 27th is. My belief is that by then, the gov't and the lazy strikers will have worked out a deal. The strikers don't have deep pockets and this 2 days striking/3 days working will ruin them. On the off chance that the strike is still on at the end of May, your at least sure to see the show, and for any trip back on the 27th or 28t

Was wondering where everyone goes after a London Stones show. The Sticky Fingers restaurant website suggests its more of an eatery than a place to hang out and enjoy cool beverages... Where's the funest place to go after a show (on a Tuesday night for instance!)? Also, are all London bars closed by midnight? Enquiring foreigners want to know
