Quotesyrel I'm so pleased for all of you IORRers drawing out Pit tickets, I really am Seriously, good luck to you all. I've drawn nosebleeds for both of my shows so far - 2nd back row in London 1, and 5th back row at Coventry. Maybe my day will come soon. From reports so far, it feels to me that a) they have sold more LD tickets this time around and that b) there are more noseblee

I would of loved to see the Bigger Bang stage. AND how the hell did you get to be inside it?!! Was that for guests and VIP's ?

It probably explains why so many of the Lucky Dippers got stuck with seats. But this was a show added to the tour later and given the ticket prices it is not surprising it didn't sell out. It looks from the videos like the boys were on fire last night and people got there moneys worth regardless of where they were. Gives me some hope for Tuesday when I get my chance to see this tour. I hope

Not sure what time to collect my LD's for Manchester. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to follow in order to improve chances. The only tickets left on sale are GC, Pit and Nosebleeds. Thinking they will put the pit tickets into the lucky dip pile later on in the afternoon when there is no longer a chance of selling them. But will there be a few good ones to at the beginning to rew

yeah my experience of stadium gigs in Manchester is that security is pretty damn strict. You can sometimes try and change your tickets at the box office or customer service desk. Always worth asking, they might take pitty on you

really want Star Star to be an option for Manchester...Then again if it gets outvoted for something like Ruby Tuesday I'll be even more upset. Democracy never works with these things

They are super good value no doubt. I have em for Manchester, however if I get stuck with seats (which knowing my rotten luck I will) I have no intention of using them. Will try and upgrade if i can. I'm not above begging ! But if no joy and anyone here ends up with a spare field ticket they will sell/swap that will make me happy.

with the exception of Cuba is it usual for them to record one show? I know most live acts record their dvds in locations where they are playing multiple shows. So maybe London. Maybe they will do one with performances from various locations? THEN AGAIN, NO FILTER IS NOT OVER YET. Who knows if they have plans to continue the tour to America and beyond.

London shows always have huge guest lists. Spare a thought for the hospitality/catering dept. we always take the brunt of it. Still would of liked to work this tour though

TV adverts and the city is littered with posters for it (minus the 2 I've stolen). Ultimately the tickets are just far too expensive for a lot of folks. QuoteDoc Non Stones : Iron Maiden in Paris A memorabilia tour fulled with classics I do not like their recent albums, didn't even buy the last one since I was disapointed by the previous. Bruce says they will be doing a lot of surprises so I am looking forward to this tour. I thought BOS album was good but very bloated. Would Like em to do Empire Of The Clouds live but that wont happen.

Quote35love Snowboarder Trevor Andrew got the gig for the new/ 2nd half ‘No Filter’ design. Huh. Did all 4 RS vote on this? ETA: quote from above on getting a Gucci gig: Now that he's returned from his first Milan Fashion Week ever, Andrew can hardly believe his luck. Later this week, he's getting the phrase "It was all a dream" tattoed on his left arm. I’m res

Yeah I wanted to get a hoodie until I saw the £70 price tag. Just a regular screen print. That must be at least £60 mark up.

Quotethecitadel The promoters hate the secondary market sellers (viagogo and the others) because they disturb their own selling plan - and take more of the money punters (us) will pay. The promoters far from hate them. 1. Getmein and Seatwave are owned by Live Nation - The biggest promoter in the business. 2. They also sell their tickets on Viagogo and Stubhub and split the profits. Other pr

QuoteMisterDDDD Quick question on tipping etiquette in the UK vs the US for those that know. Typical restaurant tipping here is about 20% (at times added automatically to the bill) dependent on service, similar there? Thanks in advance. Not obligatory. So just tip if BOTH the food and service was worth it. Avoid chain restaurants if you can as they are all pretty rubbish and give British food

TV adverts and the city is littered with posters for it (minus the 2 I've stolen). Ultimately the tickets are just far too expensive for a lot of folks. In my opinion, doing Cardiff AND Manchester was a bad call. Most bands who are very popular and a l

Quotegrzegorz67 Quotesyrel Quotebengigan I'm an out of towner and doing the whole tour so wondering if you can give me some insight. There's 8 UK dates in exactly 1 month, starting and ending in London. Is it ideal to rent a car or camper for the month? Is that common? I have one person I'm travelling the whole of UK with, possibly 1-2 more. Looking for some tips on the most e

Really wanted a pit ticket and even though last years price was too much I decided I would go for it here in UK as I wouldn't have the added cost of travel/hotel... Then they announced the price for this year. £400 is just going way too far not to mention I physically cant afford it. I went with a Lucky Dip. If they end up being up in the Gods I wont bother, Ill maybe try to see if I can p

Not overly familiar with Brooks but I know his gigs are mega popular. He often does 2 shows a day. And I read the other day he makes a point of keeping his tickets as affordable as possible and making every ticket the same price regardless of what section you are in.

The pricing is the main issue. Its been a bitter pill to swallow for hardcore fans. The general consensus among casual fans/wider general public (which is the target market for stadium shows) is that the price is utterly obscene. Prices for big acts is constantly going through the roof. Guns N Roses :£150 Iron Maiden :£75 U2 :£85 But these prices get you in front of the stage where as you wil
