Hard to believe Mick is playing the harmonica on Who’s Been Sleeping Here.Sounds like nothing he ever played. More like Brian on songs like High and Dry

I don’t believe the majority of Beatles fans disliked her because she was Japanese. They disliked her because they felt she helped draw a wedge between John and the others and helped end the band.If a white woman acted as she did, and got John going in these avant-garde directions and intruded on their recording sessions I don’t think she’d be viewed anymore favorably .Didn’t people dislike Linda

Is interesting how many songs that wound up on Beatles solo albums were rehearsed or attempted during the Let it Be Sessions , like Jealousy Guy ,aka Child of Nature, Another Day , Isn’t it a pity, All things Must Pass, Mind Games, Gimme Some Truth , Teddy Boy, Junk, Back Seat of My Car. Most of the Abbey Road album songs were written by this time. It’s also interesting that the song Get Back st

Yes, the quality of the film and sound of the Get Back Disney documentary is great. Crystal clear with great sound. It's interesting how assertive Paul was in the creative process. Hard to believe he is the same guy who wrote crap like Silly Love Songs over the next 50 years. I wish Ladies and Gentleman and the performance videos from

IMO Taylor's absense has nothing to do with the Stones not wanting him there. He seems abscent from any musical project with other musicians or any public event. If there were some problem with the Stones that would not explain his absense in any musical setting. He may just wish it that way. This performance by him at Glastonbury is one of

I don’t have ANY of her records, I don’t like her glitz and glamor. But, to my ears, she’s got one of the all time great “interpretative” voices of all time. She’s a great singer. Just not off “my type” of music. I like some of he

The Beatles broke up in September 1969, when John told the other members he was quitting. So I doubt he would have played Woodstock a month earlier under any circumstances.

Why? No one is forcing anyone to see them .They still put on a great show. They are never going to play with the speed and the explosive musicianship they did in 1972.But the music is still great..They should play as long as they want to.

And it was Bill's last shows in America The 1989 tour was too polished, stiff and rehearsed compared to the 2003 tour. They played with much more swagger in 2003 and the overall sound was much more appealing and authentic. The guitars were horrible on

The Wembley show may exist in their private collection. What about the very good quality snippet of the concert from Australia 1973 with the ping pong balls. Maybe that exists too. For me it would be a full concert from New York 1972 as long as there are no scenes of Truman Capote and the jet set crowd

QuoteTheflyingDutchman QuoteTestify Ronnie is not the classic lead guitarist, nor was Brian and Keith is not But what I meant, is that there is not only the guitar solo, personally I have always been attracted by guitar rhythmic, for this I love both Keith and Ronnie. The guitar solo is only a piece of guitar work. I beg to differ. Playing a (long) guitar solo is also about understanding

First time up close, small theater show, amazing set list: Stockholm Cirkus, July 22, 2003. Front row center of Tongue Pit with some great friends: Anaheim, Honda Center, May 15, 2013. 60 Stones concerts. I’d say 5 were good and 55 were great. In

Who cares if Jagger overdubbed some vocals. The fact is the instruments other than the rhythm guitar on Carol have no overdubs. And it is hardly noticeable.
