I just received a refund for my pit ticket to Charlotte which I requested about a fortnight ago. I will continue to hold onto my lucky dips to other shows, but I preferred not to hold onto expensive tickets to shows which I may not be able to attend. For a moment I thought this would be the first pre-sale where I would score regular pit tickets at face value, sadly despite tickets showing as available for both Pit A and Pit B for quite some time it kept giving me the message that another fan had beaten me to it. Buying tickets for US shows makes me realise how lucky Australia is that Ticketmaster doesn't have a strangle hold on the main Australian venues for ticket sales. Which means most concert sales over here don't have ridiculous queues, no outrageous hidden fees not shown until checkout, delivery costs are actual postage costs, and best of all no flex pricing.
