Quotelem motlow The good thing to me is they knew when to stop and hopefully did an autopsy on the last few records. Mick had clearly lost his fckng mind at some point. He actually said “ it can’t be that hard playing bass in The Rolling Stones” when Bill left.I thought he was joking but he PLAYED BASS on about five songs! In his defense he thought what was released as Bigger Bang ( that sound

Quotemkbbcmr Quotedaniel t Bring back Brown Sugar and get rid of Ghost Town for good. Please do and please don't. I don't care if they NEVER again play BS. I'm totally fed up with it. A staple of set lists forever. BUT I totally accept others love it to death and can't get enough of it. C'est la vie good people. What I do hope is they - just once - push past the ou

Quotedoitywoik If they are really intending to do an old-fashioned promote-the-new-album tour (which I am rather hesitant to believe, though) and want the release of the album to coincide (more or less) with the start od the tour, we may still have to wait for some more months (which however gives us the chance to push this thread to 700 or perhaps even 750 pages, if we work on it hard enough).

Quotempj200 Quotelem motlow Quotempj200 No offense but there was no tour in 2020 and I made no such post then. Nobody had any idea what was going to happen at that point. The post you are referring to was in May of 2021. And stadium rules had changed. The teams were in bubbles, the band was in a bubble. The promoters were able to work it out. But there was some crossover where players and coa

Quotebv Some seem to chase other individuals here. This may be related to jealousy, disagreements from the past, or some other unknown reasons. This is unacceptable, not just morally, but also due to IORR posting rules, to constantly pest and bother other individuals. If I see more of this campaign based rhetoric from individuals, I will have to take action, i.e. delete posts and posting access.

QuoteVoodooLounge13 I also prefer the UK BTB, but that might be because Flowers is one of my favorite albums, and I do love the songs included on it. I don't need Ruby on BTB if I have it on Flowers. I'd love for them to open with One Hit. Have so many I'd love to hear: Winter Hand of Fate Almost Hear You Sigh Thru & Thru Ride On, Baby Sittin On A Fence Blue Tur

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteGerardHennessy Has anyone got ANY information about the content of the proposed new album? Anything at all? Number of tracks? Who is/might be on it - apart from Paul McCartney? I have heard very little about its content. Most of the discussion, for obvious reasons, centres round the possible release date, tie in with the tour... Ben Waters plays on three tracks.

Yeah and it doesn't sound anything like him lol This is really lame reasoning, and what a waste of time actually to post this. QuoteProfessorWolf thanks mom does have good taste she bought those records when she was ten in 1967 at the sears in tacoma washington with the money she earned from picking blackberries for her neighbor then played them to death on her cheap suitcase record player (which tracked at 4.5 grams!) and i've since purchased good condition original copies of btb and flowers (mono and s

Quotempj200 Quote24FPS They'll have to come up with some gimmick, something new, something for the obligatory 'surprise' song high up in the setlist, before they grind out the hits. Ghost Town is played out, as are all the numbers for Blue and Lonesome. It'll either be a new song, finally, or an oldie they never played, or one rarely played. They are so predictable at th

Hard to believe it's been nearly four years since the latter was last played in Miami back when Charlie was still holding down the fort. As for Ghost Town - as good as a tune as it is, it might have wore out it's welcome with it's pandemic vib

Are they gonna play like they did in 67? 77? 87? 97? See where I’m going? No, they’re gonna play like how they do today and that’s the only thing possible by anyone who is alive now. Personally, if it happens I’m gonna be there

Hmmmm! An intriguing post by BV. And interesting that the reason for the reschedule cannot be shared. It would be very easy to read all kinds of meanings into what has been posted. However, out of respect for his request, I shall refrain from picking out key words and phrases from what BV has posted. Nevertheless I do think it is far from certain that the tour will be rescheduled anytime soon

Well, in case of doubt still rather something like A BIGGER BANG than A MINOR FIZZLE ...
