Anyone who seriously believes that covid restrictions have not had an extremely damaging affect on peoples mental health which in some cases can definitely lead to increased drug use heavy drinking and even suicide is delusional. Nate

What a lot of people are not realising about these lockdowns is that they may have had a significant impact when Covid first kicked off but as time goes on less and less people are prepared to tolerate them.If you shut bars, restaurants etc then people will just meet in private houses even if the law says you can’t. Here in the U.K. it’s looking very likely that things may get shut down again if

Quotedaspyknows QuoteNate Where is the evidence to show that omicron is at least as deadly as delta? Here in the U.K. apparently 9 people have died from omicron so far but yet again we are not informed if these people had multiple health issues in the first place and if Covid actually killed them or they were infected with it when dying from something else. Quotetreaclefingers QuoteNate How can it be premature to look at the only evidence available to date.It is premature to say that omicron is equally as deadly as delta when you don’t have any evidence yet to show that is the case. Nate It's premature to come to a conclusion based on early evidence. You're speculating, and you may be right, but you also may be wrong. I'm not

Quoteyorkshirestone I could ask you the same question. ‘Everything points to it being the best news of the pandemic’ is a laughably childish viewpoint and totally unevidenced. Basic maths - higher transmissibility, more cases, more hospitalisations, more health system pressure ( in mid January, a time when the nhs is usually at maximum capacity anyway). But hey, let anyone with waning vaccine imm

QuoteMAF First people in UK hospitals with Omicron variant (BBC) Indeed, it's not over yet. Maybe the situation will get better till summer. And next year we need a 4th vaccinaton. Yes but the article does not state how many people are in hospital or how severe or indeed mild there illness is.If the blonde buffoon starts shutting down businesses again there will be riots on the streets.
