What makes this album unique is not just the fact that it's blues covers, but the way it was recorded. Live. And this created a different vibe and mix than the usual records where Mick and Keith lay the foundation, and everyone else falls in and sprinkles their bit on top. This is a true band album. And if you are OK that it's all blues covers, it probably is their best since Some G

Just getting back from this. What a night! The recording studio was my favorite part of the actual Exhibitionism. The red (pink) carpet event was amazing. This is the only part the band actually attended for the Grand Opening. The Today Show, AP interviews and other segments were all shot the day before. In the house was Martin Scorsese, Jimmy Fallon, Lorne Michaels, Tommy Hilfiger, a guitarist f

QuoteRocky Dijon Quotempj200 And it will be worth the wait. mpj200, do you know if Matt Clifford plays on or handled pre-production on any of the new material? Sorry but I don't. I haven't been to any sessions. I only know that this will be a special record and worth the wait. Something for everyone.

QuoteIanBillen I see. Yes The Stones are a blues act at heart one could easily say. They carried the torch for incorporating American rhythm & blues into rock and Roll. Many after that followed suite .. but none are known for doing such as The Stones first did and to be frank.. who are we kidding.. none ever did it better.. (or even 'as' good). Yeah ..now back to the newbie....

QuoteTurner68 Quotempj200 There are people on here that do speak directly to the band. I will leave it at that. Dates are being booked. NY and LV look solid and the album is on pace. I definitely speak directly to the band. I have for decades. They've never answered though. So, I'm not sure I see your point. Perhaps you are dialing the wrong number?

QuoteRocky Dijon Whenever the photo is from, it's interesting that Keith and Mick were socializing together. Not something they would do in public. It may not be in public. Could be from one of their apartments. They did hang out a good bit back in the early to mid 80's.
