I have this as well but the MFSL original masterdisc sounds much better. I think its better than the deluxe remaster but that may just be my ears. Quotekowalski This Japan vinyl of Some Girls must be the best version I've listened to of this album.

Keep in mind one mans trash is another mans treasure. I agree in some ways that these releases are not as good as other songs but there must be a lot of those who do like them. If everyone thought positively this board would be much more appealing I don't think they would take this seriously. If they do, we may get "trash" like some of the new songs 2002/12 or the fillers on

I got my copy. I have all the RSD Rolling Stones releases still sealed. On the RSD site it says there are 3500 released worldwide. See the link below.

I think you should take the tickets to a ticketmaster location and ask them to print you the correct tickets. After you receive the new ones THEN give them the ones which are " not going to be accepted the night of the show" May I ask who besides Ticketmaster knows which tickets you purchased?

Wouldn't this be a rerelease of Dirty Work with a few songs from ABB tossed in as extra's? Quotedoitywoik Since Greatest Hits albums are kind of boring if no new greatest hit is emerging on the horizon, how about a Greatest Turds album? They could spend years fighting over the track list ...

I think the latest releases are double albums because the length of the CD was to long to fit in one album. Why didn't they give us the original "banned" Some Girls cover? QuoteIrix Quotesilkcut1978_ Hm, sure? Yes, absolutely: 1. Sticky Fingers (1971) Andy Warhol design jacket with zipper 2. Exile On Main Street (1972) 2-set / Gatefold Jacket / Inner Sleev

All of the above and most importantly a bottle opener. Jeroen can use if for his "thirst for alcohol" since we have something in common. Hairball you'll have to share or you'll have to get your own bottle opener.

I remember watching a video about merchandise on the 1994 tour called "the goods" or something like that. They showed all the available merchandise and had interviews. Mick walks into a room, looks on the floor and picks up something from the floor. He scratches the top of it, smells it and says "some hash, oh well finders keepers" and puts it in is pocket. Whether he was

Quotefyp933 QuoteCristiano Radtke From Mick's Instagram stories, posted about two hours ago: Mick looks bored He's not bored he is looking for Keith to tell him what chords to play. Or maybe he is looking into the future and can't find anything. Or he could just be blue and lonesome or lonesome and blue.

QuoteHairball Quote24FPS QuoteHairball Quote24FPS Blue and Lonesome II would probably flop. Now there would be pressure on them to top the first one. They would have to be open to playing with outside players like Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, and others to make it interesting. I think the charm of the first is the spontaneity and quick recording of it. That can't be replicated. And it would be a bi

QuoteLeonioid One of the stupidest to read threads ever ... populated mostly by people who have not liked any Stones album in 40 years ... people who are impatiently waiting for a new Stones mainly so they can rip it apart and rake it over the coals ... and when the album does not come they make sht up saying absurd things as if they actually did make another blues album AND IT SUCKS!!! They dug out a few chestnuts in 1999 we got Sister Morphine, Moonlight Mile and Some Girls to name a few. Maybe they will dig a little deeper and pull a few of them out this time. I doubt it but we can hope for the best.

So after looking over maps of the area there are not many hotels close by. How do you get to and from the stadium? I am coming from Australia so I'd like a little help from someone familiar with the area and I really do not want to have to rent an auto.

Quotesyrel QuoteSend It To me I wouldn't want to hear them play Satisfaction 18 times in a row, no matter how well they played it, fwiw. I certainly enjoy rarities in the setlist, but I wouldn't be unhappy with a show consisting of 17 performances of Jumping Jack Flash and 2 Midnight Ramblers... I would love to see a setlist consisting of two Jumping Jack flash and 17 Midnight Ram

I think there is an energy level at a Stones concert that is unreachable by most other bands. Due in part to both the performance and the set list. There is no better way to start a concert than Jumping Jack Flash!

I am sure you can find plenty of bootleg shirts at the local police station and probably find more than one person who was trying to sell them at the police station as well. Just be sure to try the day of the show you'll have plenty of luck. Quotebabyblue Hi can you please tell me where in Manchester and Twickenham where bootleg shirt will be available. Many thanks.

Well my Stones buddy Chris who doesn't show up anymore has an entire basement full of old albums. He told me once he has 24 different Dark Side of the Moon albums. I haven't been to visit in a while but his total for Rolling Stones was well over 200 and still going. I don't think he is giving up his collection. And wasn't there just something posted here in the last year o

Personally I would agree with most of the above suggestions and go see Roger Waters. I'd like to point out that many of the special effect which U2 uses are ideas which Pink Floyd used years ago. There is a "Bono fatigue" at the concerts which I do not find appealing but the Roger Waters show will keep you excited until the finish. Although some of the newer songs did not go o

I think one thing about this tour which was different from the others was this tour became more theatric. Mick had to stand in a specific spot at a specific time. The roll with whatever is coming along was gone. There were some great songs pulled out for the tour. Ruby Tuesday, Play With Fire, and 2000 light years. I think Little Red Rooster and Boogie Chillen from Atlantic City was the peak of

I completely agree with this Rambler the song has lost its feel and is way to long today. It just does not have the beat it use to and is a lapse in momentum in the shows today. Also, it is played at every show they need to let go and find another "anthem"

Every human has a "critical period" for language development, a time in their lives when they can easily assimilate a new tongue. And just as there's a critical period for learning a language, so too is there a critical period for learning your musical tastes: It starts at 14 and peaks at 24. "Fourteen is a sort of magic age for the development of musical tastes," Daniel

I think the older versions are better. The song has become to long and drags on. Listen to the opening riff on Hampton the song was rocking. Although DC 1994 the first show when Bobby Keys came out and took the song to another was great too but lately it has gotten old due to hearing it so much. I have never found a Stones concert a bore except in 2005 at UVA when they had the bomb scare I was b
