That makes three of us. Love it when Keith adds his voice. Salt of the Earth comes to mind.

Just got a new computer and speakers, listening to snippets of Shanghai 2014. Dead Flowers with Keith singing backup, Street Fighting Man, woohoo! Love the setlist. You can do it boys! Still sounding good after all these years. Let's hear Salt of the Earth.

QuoteThrylan Quotebv Quotebuttons67 touchy people those chinese authorities, in not letting the stones sing brown sugar due to suggestive lyrics. we wouldnt want to offend them. did the same chinese authorities say anything about their human rights record or the fact babies can be murdered for daring to be born to a mother who already has another child or just for not being a son. see tho

QuoteThru and Thru Quotepmk251 Keith's song writing is hit and miss and sometimes in the same song. But he adds something that Jagger seems completely unable to achieve...Some emotional honesty, tenderness and vulnerability. Even in the self mythopoeic Happy you are touched when he sings "Baby won't you keep me?" His songs are about something. He likes to play with words.

But being protected by them is. oh, I thought I was wearing a condom, that was you? Maybe he means by God. Cuz you know, he's American... Americans are ok,bless their hearts. Pers

QuoteAquamarine Quotetomk Pete's book is written while Keith's is dictated. That's obvious. I don't really get the distinction, though. They're Keith's words, whether they're oral originally or written. And Pete's words, even if originally written, would have been heavily edited, trust me. So it's not like one of them flew solo and the other just pu

Quoterob51 Of course Ronnie and the Stones were a huge part of her life and she might find letting go tough. They were obviously in love had kids and had a life together for years so I can easily cut her some slack. We probably never would have heard about her without her connection to a famous man. So what? She lived a life most can only dream of. Yes, you don't get over 30 plus years i

QuoteDandelionPowderman This might be the best performance of the tour. Keith, deservingly applauds Mick after his performance: Out Of Control in London, and the video of Lady Jane are some of my other favourites. I don't think they ever got The Last Time to swing. So glad they chose to play "Worried About You" the night I was there.

A belated Merry Christmas to all. Have just returned from 3 weeks in Cambodia. I wore my Keef t shirt on Christmas Day on the beach, having packed it in error. It isn't official merchandise and I don't normally wear Stones paraphanelia,(it was a gift) but I still like my Keith shirt. I went swimming Cambodian style, wearing all my clothes, with my Cambodian friends.

Thanks for posting, will have to check the remastered Moondance out. Absolutely love Astral Weeks though, perhaps because it was the first Van Morrisson album I ever heard and bought.Van and the Stones are almost in a tie for being my favorite artists. Excluding Ludwig van of course!

QuoteRokyfan QuoteAquamarine I have no idea what the personal dynamics are between the band members these days, but much as I'm looking forward to hearing the Ronnie and Mick T Show, I don't see them taking over from Keith in the Stones. Without Keith it isn't the Stones, pure and simple, no matter what shape he's in or how little he's playing. It wouldn't be the S

Let's face it, with some of those stage costumes we all pretty much saw the size of the todger for ourselves. I agree with the last two posters. Keith is working on a solo project because nothing else is happening at the moment. I would love a good Rolling Stones album, but failing that, I'll take one from Keith gladly.

The peeople beside and behind me didn't know who Mick Taylor was, and I know both groups had been to more concerts than I had. It felt kind of weird having to tell them when they asked me.
