Daltry managed to get "who the f*ck are you" on Fallon twice. I'm on the west coast & surprised the censors didn't whack that. The morality police will be outraged. Overall, pretty good performance. Fallon was obnoxious, as usual.

I'm the same way with "Through & Through". Only seen them play it once. Thought it really worked well live.

My first Stones show was this tour in Boulder, CO. In a lot of ways, it is still the best on 1 I saw. 1981 in Seattle was pretty good, too. The bloat was on its way to taking over though. That was the 1st tour with a corporate sponsor. They went down to the crossroads...

Wilco 2/6/16 Brooklyn show. From their Roadcase series. Another excellent recording in a series. The final encore is a beautiful (& different) take on "Space Oddity". Great show overall.

Quotekovach Any ideas where there are shows for download, either audio or video? Looked for my show on dime (St. Louis), didn't see it... There are some shows from the current tour up on Guitars 101. The Vegas one sounds fairly good for an audience tape.

Liked this setlist. They changed things up a bit. I always liked "Out of Control". The groove can get scary on that song. & "Worried About You" is a gem.

Quotestraycatuk QuoteAquamarine The only problem with this method is when you, the lead booker, find yourself unable to attend and are unable to sell the ticket (without great difficulty, anyway). I recently had this issue. Not all ticket resales are nefarious or for profit. But MOST ARE. Do we carry on with this authorized touting ? Looks like I won't be attending as TM are up to usua

QuoteChris Fountain I recommend everyone see this tour. It's one of the best concert I've ever seen. Sunrise, Feb 16. Glad you had a good time, Chris. After sitting on the fence, I'm going to the Seattle show. Missed you on the NFL thread at the end of the season. Sorry about your Panthers & looking forward to butting heads next season. I believe the Panthers are coming to

QuoteGreen Lady Quotecrholmstrom Appreciate all your good work, BV. I can truly appreciate what it takes especially at our age. Keeping up with the new is a challenge. Other impressions from the Grammy's: really liked Kendrick Lamar. Not something I'd listen to all the time but definitely interesting. The Eagles were low key but nice. Stevie Wonder still rules. I luv that he still has that playful side. Hollywood Vampires were fun. Bruno Mars looked confused during Ace of Spades, haha. Bonnie Raitt was great, as usual. I think the sound man is as sick

I liked it (& I'm a huge Bowie fan). Gaga took his source material & did her own thing with it. She is a very original artist & hugely talented. Really varied. Evidence: the duets record with Tony Bennett & her performance of the "Banner" at Super Bowl. She nailed it. I'm liking her stuff more all the time.

Post Pop Depression - Iggy Pop & Josh Homme. To my admittedly damaged ears this is sounding like a swan song masterpiece for Iggy. It leaked early online. I am still going to buy it when it comes out on cd for sure. This is a real good one boys & girls. A note about the early download thing: I downloaded "Blackstar" by Bowie about a week before it came out with the intention of

QuoteJTHanis Quotekeefriff99 I will say that the Licks tour in 2002-2003 was the single most exciting post '89 period because it was the one time they dug deep into their catalog and went onstage without a net. Absolutely. Look at those first four club shows! Sadly, they started dialing it back as the tour progressed. I went to a lot of shows on the Licks & ABB tours. I would say o

Quotemgguy not a fan of awards shows in general-but may have to catch the Lady Gaga tribute tonight at the grammy awards. Supposedly one of the longest sets tonight. Same here. Think Gaga was an excellent choice to salute Bowie. I hear Nile Rodgers will be involved, also. Also interested in Hollywood Vampires & the Jackson Browne/Eagles salute.

I just listened to the Chicago show real loud. For the most part its real good, with some stunning spots. Looks like its luck of the draw on the non-River stuff. Chicago didn't get anything from "Darkness" era. I'm praying for some of that in Seattle! The BTR stuff sounded real good. I could seriously live without "Human Touch" though.

Quotekeefriff99 QuoteJTHanis Quotekeefriff99 QuoteJTHanis I attended the show last night in Philadelphia. Unbelievable. Oh damn, they played JUNGLELAND?? I missed it by one night! That's the only drawback of a band that varies their setlists night to night so frequently...sometimes you miss the songs you'd kill to hear. First time I ever heard it; the same for Atlantic City. Interesting how it seems Bruce is a bigger deal in Europe now. He's playing way bigger venues over there & selling out faster. After listening to a few shows from this tour, I'm going to go for tickets today for the Seattle show. Pretty small arena. I like the more stripped down E Street Band. Tapes I listened to weren't that far sound wise from the 1980 River shows I saw. Lot

The only song I would even consider taking out & maybe replacing with one of the songs that came out with the deluxe version is "Turd On the Run". I don't think I'd even take that one out. Messing with the masterpiece at the top of Mount Rock...

Funny to think that he received the same amount for winning the Super Bowl as the Conf. Championship game. I guess if you look at it as he got $4m for getting to the SB and $8m for winning it makes more sense. Sort of. Peace, Mr DJA It was 2

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotestrat72 Here is a question for geniune NFL fans in The U.S...... People who go to the games, and are passionate about the sport through the whole season, and not just the type that tune in for The Superbowl. Do you think it is a problem when the spectacle at half time creates more interest in the media than the actual game. Is it time for The NFL to curtail the circus?

Beast Mode retirement announcement very cool on Twitter. We'll miss him but I think its a smart move for him & for the team. Read an article today saying he has saved all of the 50 million he made in NFL salary & lived off of his endorsement deals. Smart! He was 1 of a kind. Now, on to next year's march to regain the Lombardi trophy. >< PS: Cam Newton has no class. At l
