You are so @#$%& right on. If you have Mick Taylor at your disposal and you're charging $600 a ticket how about giving us our money's worth with at least HALF of the tunes with him on stage??? Forum: Tell Me
Your high, She's So Cold blows. I'm about to see my 125th Stones show in the last 32 years this coming Friday night in LA and the Beatles are cool but they have absolutely NOTHING to do with the subject matter at hand. "She's so Cold but she's beautiful though". I mean really, flush out your head gear baby and come on board for the big win... Forum: Tell Me
I'm not sure what all the question marks mean but I suppose you also like Emotional Rescue, arguably on the same level of nausea as She's So Cold. Forum: Tell Me
Its absolutely flawless with the exception that it didn't have 2 more live tunes from those shows, Under My Thumb and Satisfaction. Other than that, if i was stranded on a desert island and could only have 1 album of music to listen to, it would undoubtedly be Ya-Ya's!!!! Forum: Tell Me
With all due respect, PLEASE stop playing this ridiculously lame fraeaking tune. It sucked when it came out and its legend has grown to the point where it has somehow gotten worse. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Mick, lose this tune forever, its beyond lame!!! Forum: Tell Me
That's a crying shame. Make sure the next time you see Johnny you tell him Ronnie Costa sends his love and tell him I'll be sending him a Large LA show T-shirt. Also, please tell Johnny boy to enjoy his retirement and the beautiful Mexican sunshine!!! Forum: Tell Me
How about the Gimme Shelter style version of Satisfaction??? Picture Mick Taylor wailing on guitar while my main man Jagger says, "I ain't gonna give you no bullshit, I ain't going to give you no lie. I need a good audience to keep me satisfied." Forum: Tell Me
I'd take Mick Taylor on his worst day over Ronnie on his best day but old Woody has done just fine recently, especially since he has embraced sobriety. Having the 3 of them on guitar is a freaking party so lets dance. See you all in LA. Forum: Tell Me
This tour is all about having everybody and anybody who ever participated invited to the party. Besides, Mick Taylor would'nt want to play on Out of Control. There is about 25 other tunes that he'd rather get his Ya-Ya's out on. Forum: Tell Me
I saw Mick Taylor tear up Midnight Rambler on 12/17 in NJ from my excellent vantage point of 1st row, 1st seat on Woody's side of the stage. The energy, melody and raw talent that he brought to the stage was unforgetable. His participation is sorely needed on many more tunes to take these shows to a Ya-Ya's level. Believe it baby, Taylor is back and he's better than ever. Forum: Tell Me
He's a bit more than a stage hand friend. if you check the No Security Live album he actually sat in on Out of Control. If you want danger try flying stand by to the LA show. Forum: Tell Me
Dose anyone know if the great Johnny Starbuck, Guitar Technician and Stage Hand extraordinaire, will be working these shows? He's a hard worker, a great guy and as Keith said, everybody who was part of the Stones deserves to be invited to the party. Tell Mick/Keith its not too late to get him out of retirement and to these shows. I'm sure the boys can afford to hire him, he'll Forum: Tell Me
Really, they are being totally ridiculous. With everything else going on I'm not entirely sure that the Lakers being swept will help all that much. Besides, they're probably going to steal at least 1 or 2 games from the Spurs. At this point, I hope they just put it off until the end of May or June so we can all afford to fly and see them. Forum: Tell Me
that's exactly my sentiment. For example, if they said 3 weeks ago, it's either May 2nd or depending upon the playoffs, they reserve the right to switch it to May 1st or May 3rd. If they did that then everybody could have already made their travel/hotel arrangements with those dates in mind. The problem is they could switch it to May 16th, May 19th making it too much of a gamble to m Forum: Tell Me
Will somebody PLEASE implore the Stones, the Promoter and the Staples Center to settle on a date already. I can't wait until April 30th to make plane reservations from CT to LA for a May 2nd Asterik show. It'll end up costing me a freaking $1000 to fly because its so close to the date. I'm not a wealthy man but cmon folks, lets just pick a date that we know the Lakers and Kings Forum: Tell Me
Who's Driving Your Plane, Sway, Flight 505, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, High Wire, Winter, Parachute Woman, Bye Bye Johnnie, Route 66, Stray Cat Blues and PLEASE Street Fighting Man to close the show with Mick Taylor!!!! Forum: Tell Me
it's just a misunderstanding boys. Let Bill and Mick Taylor rehearse, play 5-6 songs and lets make this the celebration everyone wants it to be!!! Forum: Tell Me
Please Mick and Keith, since Mick Taylor is in such good form, why not have him play more than 1 song. I was at the NJ PPV right on the side of the stage and 3 guitarists was pretty damn impressive. Forum: Tell Me
I've got a ticket to the first Boston and LA shows. If they ever confirm the date I can make plane reservations. I'd love to see Mick Taylor play Sway, Can't You hear me knocking, etc. Rambler is great but we need to see himon more than 1 song. Forum: Tell Me
Many, many thanks to Mick & Keith for making my dream come true by inviting Mick Taylor back into the fold. May I humbly suggest that they bring him back for next year for more songs. Happy New Year Glimmer Twins!!!!! Forum: Tell Me
