Cool, this is the section of the show where they get adventurous or not at all. "Let's Spend The Night Together" is a great song.

Okay, I am excited about following the show tonight. Big thanks to bv and everyone for all the awesome coverage. I really enjoy being here on show nights and reading these threads. Especially leading up to seeing them in Atlanta next week! Start me up!

Wow, I was worried when I clicked on this thread. I seem to recall looking at a McCartney thread on a Stones forum somewhere a few years back and it being REALLY negative. So, I'm very surprised and happy to see a positive thread here. I love Paul McCartney. He may be my single favorite musical artist, and I'm not even that big a Beatles fan. I love McCartney's crazy, weird stuf

CRAZY MAMA!!! AWESOME!!! I would go nuts if I could hear "Crazy Mama" live in concert! Now that's exactly what I'm talking about when I talk about rare gems. In fact, "Whip", "I Got The Blues", "Crazy Mama" and "Paint It Black" is a great four song mini-set of underplayed tunes, in my opinion. Can you imagine hearing the Stones do

Thank you to everyone for their reports and pictures! It's always fun to read about the Rolling Stones, especially at the beginning of a new tour. I'm on both sides of the setlist issue, so I'm sure to make everyone mad with my opinion. On one hand, the warhorses only became warhorses because they're guaranteed crowd pleasers. As long as the band can find some sort of en

Unfortunately, it seems the video is not up on their website (yet.) I was very pleased to see this great setlist, I hope it bo

I found this thread to be incredibly entertaining, even though I clicked on it with great trepidation. I confess I actually like both albums, but will concede that Undercover is better. I'll come in later and try to do a track by track critique, but first I wanted to note that music critic Robert Christgau hated Undercover and loved Dirty Work!

I didn't know there was so much dislike for Out Of Control and You Got Me Rocking. I like them both. And I like the covers. I thought Love Train was a good choice. Personally, I'm tired of all the warhorses. I'd skip 'em all. I can't imagine how the Stones make it fresh for themselves year after year. They must just feed off the crowd energy. But I think they could mak

Okay, I have to vent a little. I love the Stones with all my heart and will stick with them until the bitter end. I hate to complain about them, but all this stuff Mick and Keith have been floating in the media about how they'd like to record new tracks with the Stones is very disingenuous in my opinion. They both say they'd like to record a new album, but it doesn't get done

I think I will give Dave a pass for the TV performance. I didn't think his voice was that horrible, but his timing was completely off. But, I imagine busting yourself right in the nose with a heavy object will certainly mess with your concentration. It must have actually hurt to sing. I give him credit for going on with the show, even if he was a dumbass for hitting himself in the first plac

Quotekammpberg The tragedy of the Rolling Stones is that Mick Jagger is right. If they played Sticky Fingers in their entirety a large percentage of the audience would be bored, not know the songs and go for beer and leave disappointed. Of course real Stones fans like myself would LOVE to see it performed and not be bored for a second. But unlike Springsteen who plays full albums, deep cuts et

Okay, I saw most of the show between internet problems, and while the beginning of 2000 Light Years was way off, the rest of it was really great. Excellent sound mix. The guitars were nice and crisp. I really dug the arrangements of some of the songs. The whole band really was like a well oiled machine, but really listening to each other and disciplined. Keith and Ron sounded incredible during YC

I would like to take a moment and point out how incredible it is to be a Rolling Stones fan right now. Our favorite band is the greatest band in the world! Isn't that amazing? And they're still kicking it hardcore 50 years on. Even if I can't be at the concert myself, I get a thrill just knowing that they're out there rocking the world. And iorr has always been a great plac
