David Dalton-Rolling Stones: The First Twenty Years I bought this book when it came out 1981/82, it's one of my favorites, another by David Dalton; Rolling Stones an unauthorized biography in words, photographs, and music. Edited by David Dalton/Designed by Jon Goodchild 1972. One of my first RS ever. I think there's a pic that the RS are holding this book? a lot of black/white

QuoteGravityBoy Nice idea. Back in the day, the Album/LP packaging and the ordering of the sides was a big deal. Often the full size album, gatefold sleeves, inner sleeves with lyrics, gatefolds with inner pages etc.. were a work of art in themselves. They fit just right under your arm and you felt like you had something of value. We definitely lost something with CDs. Good post

Great Live Stones Album I bought the double Vinyl album probable in 1977 or 78. Great sexy albumcover by Andy Wharhol, the difference between the vinylcover and cd booklet is that the cd booklet picture is shortened, I miss the Eyes!!! So my advise buy the VINYL! Cheers

QuoteCousinC That shirt didn't come from Keith in the first place. Pierre Laroche? And I saw another one wearing this shirt on board of a plane with the Stones.

I'm on this forum cause of my longtime interest of the Rolling-Stones Music. I like to share interest in music with others and I like a good laugh. The Stones getting older and they roll out again and it's not gonna be like the Sixties-Seventies-Eighties-Nineties, This is the Year 2012! I like constructive critisism but some of the posts went over the top into too much negativity!

Quotevermontoffender Thanks to bv for all of his hard work. It must be incredibly frustrating at times to create an environment like this and see it populated by whiners and people who stopped liking the band anywhere between 40 years ago and right now. There is a vast expanse between valid, artistic, criticism and the incredibly pathetic whining that goes on so often here. The Stones are a
