I'm watching Beyonce now. Incredible performer. Tight band, passionate vocals, brilliant showmanship . I have a new found respect for her. Missed it in 2011. I should have been paying attention I guess

I agree. It could be a killer album with the singles included and some the Dylanesque pieces that haven't stood up so well removed.I would include 'My Obsession' though. Doesn't 'Sitting on a fence' fit better with 'Aftermath'?

I'd love a Dirty Work bonus disc. Many outtakes were better than those included on the album. 'Strictly Memphis' and 'What Am I Gonna Do With Your Love' are the first two that come to mind. 'Baby You're Too Much' would be nice to hear in perfect quality too. Mind you, they put out a Some Girls bonus disc with out 'Fiji Gin' or 'Misty Roads

I like 'Hot Stuff'. I wish GHS(foggy) and IORR (muddy) had been recorded in the same manner. When the band were recording Black and Blue, one of the music papers sent a journalist who described the band listening to playback of one of the tracks and improvising a chant of'I like violence, sex and drugs'to it. I always wondered if it was Hot Stuff or another track. It's

Proper Job is a fantastic IPA I like a really good Cabernet Sauvignon I have a weakness for Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey. When the pubs are open I'll enjoy a pint of Taylor's Landlord (I tried ordering a pint of beer in Florida once; the bar staff had no idea what i was talking about) My own Stinging Nettle Beer is surprisingly good too

I love 'Living in a Ghost Town'. It has the three ingredients essential to any good rock song - rhythm, tension and energy. Most of all it doesn't sound forced, When Plundered My Soul came out it reminded me how the Stones at their best sounded effortless, and how much of ABB had sounded forced e.g Oh Not Not you Again. LIAGT comes over as relaxed and i love how it builds up and br

HMS praises LA Friday..Is he kidding? HTW is so debauched it practically shags itself. If you can't/Get off is great.... and then the drugs kick in. Nothing swings. It's clumsy, stilted, unlistenable. and in the video (yes I know it's a different night) Jagger galumphs about the stage like a drunken carthorse. he's a far better performer at 76 than he was at 32.... Totally

Thank you BV for opening this thread. In my opinion. President Trump's attempt to divert attention from the shortcomings of his own administration by attacking the World Health Organisation is disgraceful. No, I'll got further, it's wicked. If one good thing comes out of this pandemic it will be that more people come to realise that government is not in itself a bad thing,

Lem I'm no JBJ fan, but if all he wanted was publicity he could just as easily have invited Hello magazine to do a puff piece about how lovely his home is etc. Instead he's doing some good, I love this board but why some people need to spread cynicism and negativity defeats me. Life is way too short. I'll look forward to seeing some generosity of spirit in your next post.

....someone said earlier: 'The Hamburg show was not great but the set list was fantastic'. This make Mick's point for him, I think. The songs they play best now are the ones we call warhorses. Anyone who endured'Shattered' at Manchester will know what I mean. I love that tune - it's one of my top 10 stones songs, but they played it so slowly and tentatively that I w

The Who Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets Paul Weller ...and if any of them are half as good as Low Cut Connie were last year, I'll be thrilled.
