QuoteTeddyB1018 It would be disappointing if there were no extended and hopefully remixed audio/CD. Indeed. If we can't get the full concert on dvd (lack of footage??), maybe there won't be an issue with getting the whole concert in cleaned-up audio form. (Unless there's an issue with royalties/copyrights with certain tunes). Thoughts??

Quotemuenke Strange: Amazon has this listed with the pic of Sweet Summer Sun?!?!? It's corrected now. Looks good. Waiting for the official announcement and details.

Quotemuenke Strange: Amazon has this listed with the pic of Sweet Summer Sun?!?!? Yes, I saw that to. No idea what that's all about. I would imagine an announcement VERY soon if that release date is true. (Probably not). My guess is that it might be pushed back at this point.

I was just listening to the Live at leeds disc (GYLLO) from the boxset and noticed a possible flaw in the first track (JJF) at the 53 sec mark. It's like there is a cut there and the audience becomes extremely loud for a split second. It's really jarring. Please tell me this is on everyone's copy.

QuotesmokeyduskyThere was an earlier Mayall release of live P Green on Essential John Mayall and Exclusive Live Rarities. Are The Stumble and Double Trouble the same on the new release as on the earlier releases? I can't find any info on either of the releases you mention. Are these bootleg titles? Got my copy early this Friday and been listening to nothing else. Awesome release! Not much for packaging or liner notes, unfortunately...just a thin cardboard-only flip-open case with some pics and a little background on the recordings. (be careful taking out the cd). But what an awesome performance. Peter Green is the show IMO. Killer playing and tone. I'll be listening to this for a

Quotekleermaker QuoteDeltics Quote24FPS Somebody from the band is missing on this cover. Hmmmm. Anybody know if that one/fifth of the band was in the original photo? No he wasn't, that's handy, eh? He was standing way too far to the right ... Same situation with the cover for the L&GTRS dvd. Although they did make up for it on that with the inside cover photo where Bill

Not sure why we're getting an audio soundtrack cd for this release, but we never got one with L&GTRS which is a MUCH better performance. I still want a 1972 live album!!! (Brussels 73 does not make up for it)

QuotesanQ You can hear clips on this page: The guitar playing is incredible, as to be expected. Thanks to the original poster. I'm going to get this when it is released. Wow! It sounds pretty damn good considering the source. They did a nice job cleaning it up. All the instruments are clearly audible. Peter's guitar tone is stellar as usual. thanks

Quotefrankotero This is leading me to the idea of a lot of Mick Taylor involvement (onstage). Hope I'm not dreaming too hard. You and me both. Wow, those are fantastic! Probably the best '72 shots I've ever seen. Lots of great full-band shots which I love. I'm almost tempted to buy some. I only wish they were available in larger sizes. Some would make great posters. thanks for the link!

Thanks Naturalust. I apprecite it. On a side note, I really hope that Taylor is involved with this tour. It would be appropriate considering THIS release coming out prior to the shows, and it increases the possibilities of what could be played properly.

Am I supposed to sort through 40 pages of "live in 2015" thread for some shred of info on a S.F. reissue, or just simply make an inquiry in the pertaining thread?? What a great capture. A lot of good band interaction and also a nice performance from Taylor to. Definetly the hightlight of the concert for that audience. Hopefully we'll see more of that kind of thing this year.
