.. I am surprised that Taylor would have two mics, and Keith only one, LOL ... Keith has a magnetic soundhole pickup in his guitar to pick up his sound. The mic is probably there to add some natural and ambient sound, some room ... resotele

Bob Dylan uses the same techniques in this new song as in Roll On John from Tempest: citations of songs, hints at events, change of perspectives etc. Very interesting. Well done, thank you Bob resotele

I think there will be no more tours. Period. But I hope the Stones will play a few last shows, now and then, why not the Albert Hall, or the Paradiso, Olympia, the Beacon; or Montreux, intimate shows, or MSG. I would LOVE to be at one of those last shows. But it will probably not be possible for me... but if some of you out there, BV and others, will be there, will report, maybe will post som

I have just received my copy of the 4 disc set (from myWorld.com Switzerland, for ca. €50.--). It is wonderful, I'm looking forward to watch the restored movie and listen to the bonus disc. But why are they not able to name the participating musicans correctly ? It is Tommy Iommi and not, as stated on p. 36 of the booklet, Mich Abrahams in Jethro Tull ! Resotele

Quotetatters Here's an interesting take on the old blues standard "Parchman Farm." The vocals are by Carice van Houten. Game of Thrones fans will remember her as the actress who plays Melisandre of Asshai, a.k.a. the Red Woman. You made me relisten to Cactus Resotele

The base could be a 52 Tele. Neck date is period correct for 1950 to 1954: penciled by hand below the truss rod adjustment at the butt end of the neck. Many times the initials of the woodworker were also indicated, such as "TAD" or "TG" for Tadeo Gomez, as on this guitar. Also the body shows a correct date, penciled by hand, showing the name of the woodworker, Both dates are o

This Was and Stand Up for me, as I'm a blues rock man. This Was with Mick Abrahams on the guitar; a modern blues fest. Stand Up with Martin Barre still rather bluesy. Check out all of Mick Abrahams work, with Blodwyn Pig, and solo, electric and accoustic : wonderful resotele

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuotePalace Revolution 2000 QuoteLil' Brian (Alex Pospelov). I believe this to be an opening act on March 26, 1965 at Odense, Denmark. Maybe someone can shed some light. I want one of those shirts! Holy Crap! Look at those amps! Great gear in Denmark. Looks like the Stones's gear? I think so too. The big VOX for bass and Fender Showman for the guitars.
