some other songs are connected as well, see monkey man riff ( im a monkeeeey ) and cant you hear me knocking after the lyrics . that riff is similar but in a different timing , its all good though!

It sounds like both guitars were done live or with very few takes. Both sides contain few sudden stops which suggest that it was all pretty spontaneous. it probably was , during the chorus keith plays the licks over the words , mick taylor plays the licks between the sentences then follow them to the solo and that means it is played by mick. btw the solo played at the benefit concert in73

hello all, mick seems to use the wah wah mainly to adjust and back the pedal off slightly to change the tone of his guitar In HTW perth he seems to suddenly come alive in a humourous manner, also immitating mick jagger with his guitarplaying in the tumbling dice solo .i wish i'd been there.......
