one thing that makes him look a little more odd in these pictures is that he's not borrowing his wife's eyeliner...he's just out on the town and didn't expect to have his picture snapped... but yeah he makes Charlie look like a High School kid...

Quotedcba "Griffith received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2005 from President George W. Bush" That's a stain that won't be easy to wash off... that's an asinine thing to say...had he not gotten it from Bush Obama would've given it to him....geez...

i'm going to be seriously bummed if we only get 2-4 new songs ala' 40 Licks style... maybe...just maybe...they will really work on one last record...so many older bands have pulled rabbits out of their hats when we least expected it...ABB just can't be the last LP by these guys...

Quotesweetcharmedlife Quotecowboytoast can you imagine the look on Mick's face when he came in on the 3rd day of 'rehearsals' and saw his 'oldest pal' in there playing like a kid who just got a guitar?? there is NO way on GOD'S green earth that MJ would allow the Stones to go on LIVE TV with the same man who played the Hubert Sumlin/Chuck Berry gigs in the last

i'd be really happy if they decided to play on Saturday Night...but my gut feeling is that Foo Fighters (who I loathe) and Arcade Fire (who i simply don't care about) will do the (dis)honors with Sir Mick and that's the end of it... Jeff Beck still plays up a storm but he has no clue what's cool and what's not so he will just be happy to be there... geez they are real

QuoteSipuncula QuoteRolling Hansie Keep On Rolling smoking smiley Off topic, but every time I listen to that song I always expect it to start skipping at a specific point. I bought an "anti-skip" portable CD player for my car about the time Voodoo Lounge came out, but ironically it skipped constantly and scratched every CD I put in it, I later discovered. My original Voodoo

QuoteGold Coast Slave Ship If they record/tour/play live, then I hope KR leaves his left hand down long enough to play a chord! I do like a bang for my buck! i concur....they also need to have a "swear jar" for him that he needs to put a $100 in everytime he uses the terms "babe" or "baby"...

QuoteWeLoveToPlayTheBlues Klein operates the Stones 1960s catalogue from the grave? Wow. He really is powerful. just because he's dead doesn't mean that control goes back to the Rolling Stones...it's still 'his' company...whether not he's here or not...and the last few years he was 'here' he had alzheimers and nothing changed...why would it in the future?

as per usual...Ron Wood opens his piehole and sticks his foot in it...give him 2 more seconds and he would've started talking about 'the ancient art of weaving' or about when he first saw them and said ' i will be in that band'...wet brained bastard... to beat a dead horse i will state the inevitable...at best we will get a REMASTERED and REISSUED "40 Licks".

The Rolling Stones & Mott The Hoople are my favorite bands...both ingrained into my mind...so I don't listen to them all the time...oddly though...when I do put either band on...I tend to listen to about 4-5 LPs in a row.. the other night I started with Bigger Bang...then to cleanse that particular LP out of my system (hehe) ..I put on Beggar's Banquet...then 12x5...and then onto
