There would have been larger coverage I think if everything was launched at the same time: new tour and some new songs with that. Forty Licks was an impressive album with 4 new tunes. 50 years with one new song. Need to have something to sell. ”Stones are celebrating 60 years with a new song and tour” is much more interesting than ”just” another tour (not for me , but for the press)

This time around I really felt they found a song from the archives that even the general public really liked and sang along to. Keep it!

Hope it will stay, crowd pleaser and a song many people out there did not now that it was written by RS. Have seen some of the videos. Could continue singing the refrain over and over again.

Since we all know the warhorses will not be dropped I must say that the latest setlist was very impressive: Street Fighting Man 19th Nervous Breakdown Sad Sad Sad Tumbling Dice Out Of Time Beast Of Burden (vote song) You Can't Always Get What You Want Living In A Ghost Town Honky Tonk Women --- Band introductions Happy (Keith) Slipping Away (Keith) Miss You Midnight Rambler

QuotePatrickS77 QuoteRisingStone Actually I feel it doesn’t look that bad once the show is on. The stage is coming into its own. Only in the sense that the colours are not that bright anymore. I still don't get those pitiful small screens on the side. No Filter was way better. Agree - the screens should be larger on the sides

IMO Start me up has not been great since 89/90. Terrible 94-98. Bad 2017-.

QuoteGasLightStreet Having listened via YouTube, it is a bit slow. Sluggish? 1994 was sluggish. Perhaps most interesting is Mick leaving holes. Ronnie though. Come on. He's been playing the solo for this song since 1989 and... it's seemingly gotten worse with every tour since. Madrid was soup. Could he ever play that solo? Except for on the studio album. TD is the same, althou

Quoteshattered1978 Quotefirebird ... If there are no surprises, this is by far the lowest costs production I have ever seen for a stadium show of the stones. Maybe even the lowest costs production any stadium act would dare... That takes us back to the Licks tour: "the tour only one band would dare to attempt" I am happy with any stage as long as the Stones are on it. Stones si

QuoteMelBelli Quotejohn lomax I am disappointed because it looks cheap and is a step backwards. I appreciate that as it’s a fairly short tour they can’t have a really expensive stage but the 2014 stage didn’t look as cheap and had big screens on the sides - the screens on this one look like the tiny screens from the Steel Wheels era (without the amazing stage). And again, for several hundred poun

QuoteTopi Hey, this is IORR, we just like to bitch and moan! Boring setlists, ugly stage, bad weather, a weird vibe around the tour...etc. etc. Exactly - and we all want to rewind the clock 30 years so we can have 30 more years of moaning!
