New Rolling Stones film Eagle Rock Entertainment are delighted to announce that they have signed a deal with the Rolling Stones to release two DVDs this year. The Rolling Stones have long been viewed by many as Britain’s most important rock n roll band and these releases, concentrating on some of their finest work laid down in the ’70s, will certainly cement that reputation. The first of

It is a shitty release like all the review DVD's. No Stones music, a docu with nitwits being interviewed about the concert or band(s) and some footage from that era with other music dubbed over it due to copyright rules. Skip it from your wishlist!

Giants Stadium 94 was amazing, so was Soldier Field in 97, after that show the setlist and shows changed dramatically, enjoyed the 97 Giants Satdium show though and was amazed at MSG in January 98....after that...well they should had called it quits after Live Licks, that tour should had been their Swan Song.

I've spent more summers without the Stones than with the Stones so should be a great summer. Currently in Brazil and it's Summer here. Once back in Germany in April Spring is there and Summer's around the corner so should be great. Love Parade, World Cup Soccer, Weiss Bier mit Banana Saft.......and a nice, handsome man on my arm...and maybe some Stones music rocking in the backgrou

The Exile on Mainstreet has NO DVD but at the time of release BBC 4 will broadcast a 40 minute documentary in the vein of Springsteen's making of Born To Run. Great insight in the recording with new interviews including MICK TAYLOR Exile will have 5 unreleased bonustracks and a special packaging. The DVD was only there in the mind of fans. Wishfull thinking of a definitive Ladies & G

It's a single CD so considering the running time 3 tracks is the most they can do and they WON'T do a extra disc with 80 minutes of unreleased material and hey better 3 never heard songs than 15 we already have on bootleg many times, right?

Besides the writing with Dave and Jack it's all b****sh*t!! They WILL tour to promote a new album late 2010 with Charlie and Woodie and Stadiums as it is a financial deal, nothing more nothing less. Keith has nothing to do with the Stones except for showing up for recording sessions and shows. Jagger does the deals and if Jagger doesn't do it nothing happens. No new solo albums, remembe

Many things annoy me. Mainly the over the top staging, the many back up musicians they use since 1989, the sad fans that dress like Keith while they all look like Chuck or in the worst case Bobby wearing clothes that would only look nice on Bernhard's fine ass.The setlist that weras out half way through with the same run to the end since 1989, the fact that the Licks tour should had been the

It's all about the money and that's it. Nothing new, just old stuff rehashed and adds nothing to the excellent Virgin remasters. i bought these back then as they were beautifully packaged in their original album cover art (unfortunately the live albums did not get this treatment :-( ) and I had a totally new experience listening to these albums. This time the packaging is poor and the r

The Stones got nothing to do with this. Do you really think they care about another remaster? they sold their rights, cashed and that's it. They don't give a damn. Once they were bad boys now they are sorta rock royalty. Running the Stones like a business as that is all it is. They had a good moment with the Licks tour which should had been their swan song with the great club/arena/stadi

In an age of Ipods and MP3 sources we are discussing new remasters of Albums that were released nearly 30 years ago and released and cleaned up and masterd for cd, remasterd with new technology being a major overhaul and now again. But how far can one get from the original how was the original intended to sound? And audiophiles are often far from realistic as...in the end, it is JUST music and I

Nothing justifies a price this steep. There are really amazing small quantity and high quality Japanese art books that cost less than half the price including P&P. It's a shame and too bad as i'd love to have a copy but I cannot afford this much money and especially not for a book. The Stones were once a political correct and social feeling band. Especially in the era described in th

Back in 1983 Time ISs On our Side was released in Europe in the theaters. I went to it 2 times and still own the filmposter. A year after release I bought a 100 USd bootleg VHS copy of the movie titled: ROCKS OFF. It was identical to what i'd seen in the theater only the beginning of Time is On our Side consisted footage that was later edited into She's So cold on the 2 years later rele

Don't want to dissapoint you all but it's simply the 8mm footage. Pro footage would had been released as a silver release in larger quantities by a major label like Empress Valley, to make more money. This is a lousy product as their previous ones. Rough footage with incomplete songs and ALL are on the cover, but it's snippets and some nearly complete, dubbed, though nice, to t
