IMHO they were great before 89 and they are great post-89. Been to every tour since 75 including 50 years and counting. They have simply been the best band out there for 50 years. Period.

You got me rocking - never liked it, never will. Bad choice. Given the reason for the event, Gimme Shelter may have worked a lot better. The Stones can't be captured in two or three songs. Didn't work at the Super Bowl, didn't work here. With that said, can't wait for the PPV.
