Sad news. I only just found this thread by accident. I met alan in 1992 after a Blues Brothers Band concert in Blackpool (U.K.). I was in my 20's,drunk on castlemaine XXXX and dancing all night. I think the BBBand were amused by my "efforts". After the concert I shook his hand whilst he was on stage and said "Belushi Is God!!!"- he smiled and turned our handshake into a

I remember reading a couple of quotes from James, around the time of the Babylon tour. on drugs- "look at Keith Richards-you think anyone would want to do drugs after seeing the state of him" on his Dad (Mick) "he waggles his arse and makes a fool of himself in front of thousands of people-an embarassment" As one of those "thousands"-I'm glad he does!!!

I've read Woodwards book many times over the years. I now have mixed feelings about it. When I was a teen,(I'm 41 now!)it devastated me, I remember having tears rolling down my cheeks at the end, even though the ending was a foregone conclusion. As I've gotten older (and wiser?) and on hearing what people who knew Belushi best have said, I've started to question certain aspe

There's a SNL video of Belushi doing his Joe cocker impression and the actual man himself walks on stage and joins in! Mr Cocker saw the funny side!

A huge Stones fan and friend of Keith, John was part of the "Blind Angel" gig in Toronto. He met his idols whilst working on Saturday Night Live 1975-1980. Amazingly, the same woman who supplied Belushi with his final "fix" in 1982, also sold to keith from the same batch! John also enjoyed "relaxing" with Ronnie Wood. keith mentioned Belushi in a recent interview

Theyll prob be selling the posters on the night. Expect to pay a tenner upwards... If not you can always "borrow" one from the Theater after the Show. That's how I got my Chuck Berry/Jerry Lee Lewis one in 2003! Not polite, but I doubt you'd be arrested for such a thing! Roaslie/Alan, I'll contact you in the next couple of days regarding meeting up before the Show.

Keiths teeth are OBVIOUSLY false, just look at the video for "IORR"- his real ones are rotting out of his mouth at this point! I'd be more interested to know if any of them have had hair "work". I guess that Keith has, as he had a bald patch on his crown during Voodoo Lounge" tour, it mysteriously grew back in time for "Babylon" Brian Jones builder kill

Not sure which year, but it looks pretty recent I'd say, from the fashion, bottled water and Marianne herself!!! Wouldn't it be GREAT if they invited her to sing this at the upcoming royal wedding?(YAWN!!!) *"...but you're f**king peasants as far as I can see!!"- lol that would go down REALLY WELL with the invited establishment!

No more entries please people-we have a winner!! How good is Marianne after all these years, still!? She sings this with such a "F**k You" attitude that I'm sure Lennon himself (wherever he may be!) will approve. Wonder if Mick's seen this?

That stupid bloody eminem song-my nephew plays it all the time and it drives me CRAZY. The lyrics revolve around his daughter following him to sweden, (unlikely!), and standing in the front row at one of his concerts because he forgot to rock-a-bye baby her goodninght-or something! It's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard-and that's saying something these days. I defy ANYON

Friendly guy on the other end, I got row G (9 o'clock) £102.50 Total Could hear another booking being taken in the background. I asked if the lines had been busy, he said "YES!!!" Going to DRIVE down (200 plus miles) and back again after the Show! I CAN'T afford it really,

I LIKE ER and Miss You-it WAS the 70's people, give em a break, Have a look at what else was in the charts in this period. Top marks to the Stones for following (then)modern trends in music and still recording a GREAT song. hindsight is a wonderful thing! *PART of the Stones appeal (to me anyway,) is their overall "campness" (especially Mick)-He don't care how others perceive

I used to quite like Kid Rock after hearing one of his songs on Letterman about a decade ago (Wasting Time)-I only recently found out that he stole the live intro from Fleetwood Mac. The chart friendly song that was played NON-STOP a couple of years ago really started to get on my t*ts after a while. Especially since he stole TWO of the greatest riffs ever (Sweet Home Alabama and Werewolves O

Monday 4PM. Having finally caught up with my sleep and recovered from my "ordeal", I thought it was now time to add my own experiences of the BIG day. I arrived at Waterstones afdter a short (2 hour) train journey, around 00.30. I was immediately welcomed by my next numbers in the queue, Rosa lee, Alan, Darren and his Dad and "The lady in Pruple", and we all remained clo

m1cawber Hi, Yes I sure am!!!-My original plan was to drive down after seeing the expensive train fares. When I heard the tubes were on strike I had another look and got a return journey coming back tomorrow night for £33. The tube strike has actually SAVED me ££money I'll be boarding at Wigan North-Western at 21:28. I'm travelling by myself as none of my friends are Stones f
