I saw this crazy duo for the first time last night at the West End Centre in Aldershot . Really Free and Beware of the Flowers were mad - as was most of the set but , boy , do these guys enjoy themselves . And great to see them both in the bar with the "fans" both before and after the show . Not sure that Mick and Keith would do this ? Anyone else seen them ?

Saw this thread and had to order the book from Amazon . Fantastic pics . You'll understand from my log in that this was the first time I had seen The Stones live . Can't remember too much about the show except that The Meters were support , HTW was the opening song , the famous stage and phallus and my first ever Stones Tour T Shirt . Anyone else have memories of these gigs ?

I'm going to Twickenham in 2 weeks time to see REM for the first time . Sounds like it should be a good gig . Anyone know what ticket sales are like ? I'm only used to seeing this stadium full for The Stones .

Saw Blondie last night at the Motor Show Music Festival . A cracking set of all the old hits with Debbie in good form and Clem Burke having a great time on drums . The only let down was a weak version of GOMC as the closing number with DH clearly reading the lines off an autocue or similar . Best leave it to the The Stones IMOH .

Apart from compilations this was the 2nd Stones album that I bought after B&B . For me it's still a great listen with a variety of tracks that only The Stones can do . How do you get Faraway Eyes , Shattered and Beast of Burden on one album ? I thought it was interesting that there were 4 SG tracks on SAL .

I was a Mott fan in my youth but never got to see them live . I did see IH in London last year and it was a great gig . His newer stuff is really good , a track called "when the world was round" is a classic and when he played the MTH tracks it was singalong all the way . One of the greats , I hope he is back in London again soon .

Got this as a Christmas pressie from stepson so I'm one of the 100k . This was the first Stones complilation I bought when it came out on vinyl in the 70's and would still make a good "intro" record to anyone who has not yet got into the band .

I was at all 3 RS shows . What really surprised me first was the total absence of ticket touts . There are dozens of places inside to eat/drink but all are very busy . There is a bag search when you go into the arena itself but nothing too heavy . They will not let you take your own food/drinks in . There are other less crowded bars inside the arena and places to get burgers , chinese and hot san

Dropped in to this show tonight off the back of reports from you guys on IORR.org . A really good night sandwiched between the O2 shows . Bernard sang vocals on a funky HTW , a brilliant Fool To Cry , and one of Keith's - Baby Break It Down . The band did a long non stop jam of Satisfaction and for the encore Lisa came on and duetted with Bernard on Ruby Tuesday . Now we all know Lisa can

Security at the Arena entrance were doing the usual bag checks and then there were a couple of people just directing people to seats . On the floor area it looked as if people were kept to their seats and did not move around though , I must be honest , when the B stage set was on I was dancing too much to notice . The stage set was very basic with a single giant video screen behind the band . Si

Just got home from the 02 show . My thoughts are that it was a great show that lived up to expectations . I heard LIB and CYHMK live for the first time and BOB was a nice surprise . Jagger was his usual awesome , energetic self though he did slip up in a couple of songs , notably at the start of TD . Keith was in great form and clearly enjoying himself . YGTS went down a storm . Ronnie was on f
