Anyone know what is meant by the lyrics to this song? Any Thoughts/comments appreciated. I know they rehearse this song before every tour, but never play it live. I wonder what the significance of this song is to the boys.

I read the same thing. BT opened for the Stones in Chicago, at opening night on the BTB tour. Popper kicks ass. Pretty educated guy too, judging from his lyrics. Which tracks really stand out for you? "What's for Breakfast" has the best harmonica solo/playing that I have ever heard from ANY player.

Anybody into this band? I saw them back in 1990 when they were just starting out in a small club in NYC. They rocked. They did a cover of "Miss You" which was great. I saw several more shows after that. I think the frontman, John Popper is an awsome lyricist and harmonica player. I recently threw on a few of their early cd's. They can jam.

I'm in the middle of it right now. Just finished reading the part about the Playboy Mansion. Could you imagine? Probably the best house party ever! The Stones and bunnies!

Anyone have any thoughts on this track? I think it could have a been a classic in the vein of Monkey Man or CYHMK if they worked on it a little more, but it sounds unfinished. The riff was there. So f'n Raw like a buzz saw.

I think he meant that his Uncle was exiled (like Napoleon) as far as he was concerned. Dead to him, so to speak.

Great Song! I was listening to Black-n-Blue all summer in my car. Great summer album. Sounds great cruisin out to Montauk. On a side note, Every summer, there's a Stones cover band called Black-n-Blue that plays at the Memory Motel. I think in July.

LISTEN TO THIS SONG! I Love the Keith riff and then Ronnie coming in with the slide (after the second verse I believe) I remember the first time I heard this song. I heard the drum roll from the other room and KNEW right away it was a new Stones song. They didn't announce it but I just knew it was Charlie. I guess this is from years of listening to this wonderful band.

I was at the August 94 opener. The best Stones show! The stilt walker was chasing Mick around the stage and Mick ran through the stilts! It was awesome. They had some Voodoo band playing voodoo music in between the Living Colour and Stones sets. What a great show.
