correct No Expect my choice, after spending thousands on San Francisco with the ole lady, then San Jose, I did choose to not go back to the April show. So, excuse me for saying "winter" perhaps, you ended up with tickets I sold to some sailboat in San Fran Bay ?

I was at Zilker... front row in front of Keith. While it was the best of eleven shows I've seen, my buddy said it was 3rd best of the 37 shows he's seen. Anyway, he had the opportunity to see them a few times in Europe, and stated going to shows way before my first in 1981. The DVD is dubbed, of course. I was a bit disappointed they left out Bitch. Being down in front, it was awesome

First of all, thanks to all who have entered on this topic. Disc 1 - Zilker Park, Austin, Texas My friends and I, were there, right in front of Keith. To me, the DVD, brings back my smiles, my eyes glistening with tears of joy. Although, I do see some editing cuts, of course, I could not have wished for a better representation of what we saw that night. It was a very special night. I use

just an observation My friends and I were @ Zilker Park Austin. The Bob Wills song was fun to see, and Mick did a great job of singing and playing guitar. It seems like I read somewhere in the press, that they rehearsed this song backstage for the first time before the show to add it into playing Austin, Texas for the 1st time ever. One of my friends commented how well Mick did, that he did

Picture the year 1976 I had an 8 track for years before that, but started working in a record store in 1976. All thru high school, we bought albums, and recorded 8 tracks from them. Used to get blank tapes, and throw them into the recorder, just to have copies of my music to listen to in my '62 Bel Aire,'64 Nova and '68 Polara. It's all we had to take with us. Craig c

My lady friend got hit in chest by one of Charlie's sticks at the end of the Austin Zilker Park show. The young lady next to us, picked it up and gave it to her. It had Charlie's name in black on it

Will say yes, reminded several times it was being filmed. You couldn't miss all the video cameras around the stage, the sky cam over the crowd suspended by cables from very tall towers, and a helicopter circling Zilker Park during the Stones set. Great show, best I have seen them in 11 shows. My buddy has been to 31 shows in US and Europe, and said in his Top 3 They had never played Au

CCR together would be sort of reach. To me, JCF was CCR. I was fan in 70's, and was ecstatic when JCF came back on "Blue Moon Swamp" tour. Was hanging out in San Fran, and couldn't get to the show in South Bay. So I called my friends in Oregon, caught a plane to Eugene. We were on the front row, and it was outstanding. Flew back home to Austin, and got on front row @

That is correct, it was Charlie Sexton, Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon from SRV Double Trouble, and Doyle Bramhall II. Doyle II's dad, Doyle I, co-wrote some of Stevie Ray Vaughn's recordings. The Arc Angels named themselves for The Austin Rehearsal Complex (ARC). It isn't around anymore. I also recommend Doyle Bramhall II's music. Have seen him perform several times

recommend Grady I saw them live at Big Dave's Dam Saloon in Lakeway by Lake Travis, west of Austin, a few summers ago when they had just cut " Y U So Shady? " On the CD, Chris Layton, ( former drummer for Stevie Ray Vaughn, Arc Angels ), Gordie Johnson and Big Ben Richardson. I lived out there, and used to run into Layton. Always a very nice person, and appreciates the fan

I was at the Halloween Oakland show. Stones did 4 shows there. Not sure who all opened the other 3, but it was Seal on Halloween. Got my favorite Stones tee shirt there. Has tongue logo on front with fangs. On the back, Voodoo Lounge 1994, Halloweek, with the 4 dates, with pumpkins with Stones tongue cut out on pumpkins. Have been offered by many people to buy my tee shirt, but I tell them

The Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Halloween 1981. It seemed as if when Mick started, "I was born in a crossfire hurricane ", it rained buckets. I remember there were guys with squeegees shoving inches of water off the stage. After the show, sloshing through water up to my ankles on the stadium floor, and in the parking lot. The crowd was wild, though. The next day's show, it was

Ditto what FrankM said to you Queenie. I am pleased you got enjoy the Zilker show and Austin, it's a the best city in Texas. I feel your pain, sir. For No Security tour, I purchased 6 tickets for San Jose. My friends flew in from Oregon ( the guy who has seen 31 shows ), and my lady friend and I flew to San Fran, stayed a week there, then took the train to San Jose. Mick got sick, and

We had just left Fado's Irish Pub walking east on 4th st. It was the corner establishment, quickly glanced for a name through the window, but just saw seafood type stuff and blue neon lights. On that corner, there is about 5 or so concrete steps on the corner of the block leading up to the entrance. Looking north from the corner, The Alamo Drafthouse was half block down on right side of the

Zilker show was truly the best I have seen of the Stones. As I'm sure you all have read, a DVD was filmed. It all started Sat nite, when friends and I were in the Warehouse District dining. We had to pick a place that allowed minors, as we had two teenage guys in tow. One half a block away, as we were walking away, the fifteen year old said, " hey, there's Ron Wood " At
