I cribbed this from a YouTube description on a clip of Dionne doing a B/D song: Nick Tosches (writer, music journalist, novelist, biographer and poet), January 7, 1972 issue of the rock magazine FUSION: "...getting into Dionne Warwick is like finding buried treasure. The Bacharach/David repertoire which milady chooses to sing is so fascinatingly cynical / fatalistic / stoical / emotion

QuoteTiminIndy A friend of mine who works out there just sent this picture from the front of the bronze section: Thanks for the pic. Is that gravel I see? Bad enough that one would have to stand on asphalt, or even concrete, for 3-6(?) hours. This is certainly worse. Much worse. .

Nikkei- Outstanding photos of the venue, especially in daylight hours. Really appreciate the high angles and panoramas, they give a really good sense of the place. Much better these than the endless stage shots usually posted on this site. Those look all the same from show to show, year to year. Thanks.

QuoteMick2014 ...on Dependance Day and to see the Stones, it would be great. That's probably the most hilarious (and frightningly truest) thing I've ever read on this site! .

QuoteLeonioid QuoteMister_D QuoteLeonioid I might also suggest going ahead and buy a $75.00 great parking spot. $75 to park? Ya kidding me? You could park in Midtown Manhattan for that much money... for a whole week... and have your oil changed... Does the $75 get you a quicker exit? Does that lot have a dedicated ramp to the interstate? Wow. If you are looking for a argument then look

Quotejumpontopofmebaby Kansas City not selling good AT ALL! Seats that used to be $385 now $195 Great seats ...some of the best in the house still available! Something has to give Kansas City a boost! I wonder how a City that has very very poor ticket sales plays on the Stones emotion's for that show. Will Kansas City get a half hearted show from Mick and the Boys? Wil

Quotedrbryant Quotea bigger nut Interesting photos. Baseball stadium is not a good place to see a concert obviously. Football stadium is still better. I am trying to buy SD ticket though. Yes. In a baseball stadium, there are no good stand seats - everything is pretty far away. In a football stadium (especially one tailored to a U.S. football field) the side stands aren't that bad.

Quote5stringTele I just paid $3500 for a pair of Diamond VIP tickets, and they're not even telling us where the seats are!!!! You have to pay for the tickets blindly. They could be at the end of the row with little or no view of the stage. Bastards. I'm a fool, baby A certified fool (And it makes me wonder why)

Since 2005, 36 posts. It's not that I'm not that interested in this board, I guess I'm no longer that interested in the Rolling Stones. I come here for old times' sake. Post when (I think) I have something say. Which, given my (little) interest in the band, is not that often.

QuoteChris Fountain I really doubt if people would leave the stadium if they played 'Heart of stone' or 'Lady Jane' or 'Can't you hear me knocking' (or even 'Love in vain'). They did not leave at Glastonbury during '2,000 lightyears from home' which is not exactly a well-known classic. Agreed. I don't understand why chances are not

My name is Dave. It was an obvious and perfect fit. Surprised it was still available at the time. Have since seen another person with Mister_DDD, or something like that. Feel kind of bad because he's probably a more active poster-- and a bigger Stones fan-- than I am. Oh, well. Maybe he had something else in mind, though. .

That constellation on Mick's jacket is really special. Look through him and you can see beyond... Mythic. .

QuoteDoomandGloom Sightseeing Stones... Great footage. I don't know how they get much sightseeing in, though. I guess it depends on what you mean by "sightseeing Stones", i.e. who is the doing the sightseeing and who is the being sightseen.

Great shots, Wrowclaw. It'd be great if you could provide similar venue shots-- not just the usual stage shots of band members-- on the day of (before the sun goes down).
