...."When he hit the opening licks to Honky Tonk Woman as the lotus pedal stage unfolded, I knew right then I was witnessing the coolest living white person to walk the face of the earth.".......that about sums up my own experience! Same thing happened to me back in Philly in '75..... Keith Richards is the lord of rock!!

Gonna see them again in 2 days....Atlantic City in a small venue. Gotta say I saw them in Philly last fall in a hockey arena and they were really, really good...not as good as the Stones shows I saw (saw 4 of those!) but amazing all the same, particularly since Entwistle and Moon are long gone. And yes, compared to the Who show I saw in the early 80's the current Who is much better now!

yup.....definitely dopey products with bad designs for the most part...I've been really disappointed in their choice/selection of t-shirts - specially for the last tour.

Like comparing apples and oranges....both great bands who offer totally different vibes. Gonna see the Who again in AC at a real small theatre in 3 weeks - can't wait! Wish Zep were still around to see.....

In no particular order, "It Won't Take Long","Driving Too Fast" "Back of My Hand" and "Laugh, I Nearly Died" all terrific Stones tunes (sorry that's 4, too bad!). If permitted 2 more I'd add "Look What the Cat Dragged In" and "Rough Justice"........

Love the idea of an official shirt...but please find another image of Keith to use. Why? He looks like Larry fine of the Three Stooges in this picture!!!!! Seriously, check any opening credit of one of their short movies! Keith gets enough razzing for his looks! I love the man, can't we do him more justice?

Oh how sad. This a true loss of one of music's true greats....the second (or third?) single (on vinyl of course) I ever bought was "Get Up Offa That Thing"....my god - how funky that was...you can just dance all night to JB, which my friends and I did! .....r.i.p. J.B.

Love reading these....makes me smile, everyone one of 'em! How 'bout on She's So Cold, when Mick sings...."she was a beauty, a sweet, sweet beauty, a sweet, sweet -booojy- (sounds like!) but oh so cold!!!" .....funny, cool they left that in the final take....

Thank you Rockman! Really enjoyed reading Woody's take on things. I'm glad he's "pencilled in" a Faces reunion tour....I would love to see that! I know many who feel the same way. Of course, ol' Ronnie Lane (R.I.P.) would be missed....but I'd still love to see them all the same. I also agree with Monkeylad about those 3 music rags. Always have loved Mojo, Q

Philly Spectrum June 30, 1975....rocked! I know, I was there! Also, have a boot of Paris Les Abbatoir July 1976 show on DVD, and a CD boot of them in playing Frankfurt, 1976....I think by the time the tour swung around to Europe (1976) the set and the band were really tight. I really love these recordings. Are they as good as Brussels Affair, frankly no, but I believe few shows are....each Stones

Got it about a month ago, it's a beautiful book, and yeah, very expensive, but a great memento of the TOTA '75 tour - my first time seeing the boys live...so I'm really happy with it. There's some amazing photos of eveyrone, of the "lotus" petal stage, soem incredible shots of Keith backstage....not to be missed if you can shell out the cash!

Buzzkillers just enjoy bringing everbody down with their ragging - and it's always the same "experts" on this board. Do me a favor and spare me the self appointed "expert" crap! You're all like a broken record. Hey, get out more...btw I'm no rookie, my first show was in '75!! Been digging these guys since I was 8 that's over 40 years... that said,
