I agree, oldkr - I've seen Dylan 3 times recently- I would have never gone a second time if not to see the other act he was touring with. Donkey is probably a better way to describe it....I've been saying it sounded like he puked into the microphone. Smoking hot band, needs a new lead singer. As far as most annoying concert, I saw the Counting Crows / Goo Goo Dolls tour this past

Just saw Chuck this past Wednesday in St. Louis at Blueberry Hill...quite a thrill to see such a legend in such a small place...literally, a little basement bar with seats for about 75 and standing room for about 200. As far as the show goes, it's about exactly what you could expect from an 80-year-old legend. Sometimes he's immortal. His voice is still surprisingly very strong, did th

Saw Joe a couple of years ago and he and his band were phenomenal. With a Little Help tore the place apart. And The Guess Who are excellent as well.

I know I will be tortured to death on this board for saying this, but download Midnight Rambler from the (I think) Satima show (It was in that collection of 36 ABB tour songs posted on here a while back) and tell me that (minus a couple of mistakes) it does not stomp all over Rambler on the Ya Ya's album.

From best I can tell, it's Dolly Parton's voice at the start of the track.

Saw him at the end of September this year near Chicago, I'm not a huge fan, just went more for the experience of seeing a legend. He has aged very well - still moves quite well and voice has held up great. Show is a bit over the top, but entertaining none the less...VERY tight band. Worth getting the cheap seats for definately.

Tumbling Dice - played too fast, and guitars sound too thin Start Me Up - played too fast, and the bass never comes through quite right Can't Always Get what you Want - misses the acoustic guitars

I'm glad you posted this, because I got online tonight to do the very same. I haven't heard anybody seeming too concerned the past three or four shows, so I guess that's a very good sign. I thought Chicago was just the cold too. Other boards were up in arms talking about Keith having a stroke and such, but I really think it was just the cold and the arthritis. Can anyone fill u

The Who - Sept 25, 2006 in Chicago. Someone in the front row had some sort of perfume on that gave Roger an alergic reaction, and he had to go backstage after the song...Pete looked rather confused, sang My Generation in place of Roger, and then the rest of the band rather awkwardly went backstage for about 10 minutes. Came back out and finished an amazing show.

I agree! I was section A5, and although Keith did spend a good deal of time over by Charlie, he shined when he had to. Solo on She Was Hot was the solo of the night, (at least live...I haven't listened to the YouTube one yet)...and his leads on Tumblin' Dice and Sympathy were great too. He is an arthritic old man, and the cold just took some life out of him...I doubt it was anything

Coming from one who was at the show, even though it was only 18 songs, I didn't feel cheated in the slightest. I've played some very cold outdoor shows before, and you just can't move your hands like you normally can. Keith did seem to be having some trouble, and did stay back quite a bit, but he did throw in some very nice licks when he had to. You Got the Silver sounded great,

Hi there. Long time lurker, but first time poster. I just saw on Pollstar.com that two Beacon shows, Oct 29 and 31st are confirmed. I live in Chicago, so this doesn't do me any good, but I thought I would start out my posting career here with some good news.
