People can say what ever they want about that book (That it was sellf indulgent bullshit or just plain rubbish) . When it first came out though it was a STONES lover's dream, I still remember the big display it had on Hollywood BLVD. what we know about it now is a different story. It was the first book Icould'nt put down untill I finished it!

I think it was in a playboy interview ,Bowie said Jagger showed him abunch of work by "this dude Guy Peellaert" saying he was going to do their next album ,Bowie liked his work so he got ajump on the stones ,and had him do diamond Dogs. so the story goes Jagger called him up abit angry , Bowie say's his response was "SORRY MICK BUT IT'S A BASTARD'S BUSINESS" .
